"Important message about my Credit Card...."  Phishing scam.

Go to http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm and file a complaint.  My wife and I did so today for this number and in the past for another call from the same outfit.  We received an e-mail from the FCC which stated in part:

"Although the Commission does not resolve individual complaints, each complaint is
individually analyzed and assists us in enforcement actions to protect consumers
like yourself.  You should be aware that the TCPA also provides for enforcement of
the telemarketing and junk fax rules by state attorneys general and by individual
consumers.  With respect to the latter, the TCPA permits individuals who have
received certain unlawful telemarketing, such as junk faxes or telemarketing calls,
to sue the violator in state courts where they may be awarded up to $1500 for each
violation."

I think it time for a class action suit against Card Services and these sleazy telemarketers.

Does anyone know if they use the info we give them for nefarious purposes?  Like ID theft?  I just spoke with a representative and gave them info.  I was put on hold while they "verified" my cards, and after a couple of minutes, I was disconnected.  When I try to call back, I get a voice recording with the only option as "remove from their call list."
I need to know if I should contact my credit cards to make sure no one uses my info.

I have been getting a call from this number for several days now, everyday. I never answer the call because I do not recognize the number. I am glad that I finally googled the number and found all of these comments about this being some type of scam. I definitely will not be answering this call now.

I started receiving calls this week from this number,about once a day.  I have never answered, and will never call them back.  I am on the Do Not Call list and filed a complaint today.  I get the recorded voice that this is the second and final call, and to hit 1 to speak with an operator to lower my interest rates.

This number calls at least once a day claiming lower my credit card interest rate.

This number is being "Spoofed" by  Delta Outsource Group, a collection agency located in O'Fallon, MO.  They will try and gather enough information to create an account.  Many bank accounts have been drained by this establishment and many "Spoofed" phone numbers have been fraudulently used to aquire information.

They called me again and played an unlawful recording, telling me this is "my last and final chance to lower my credit card interest rate."  I pushed a button to speak to a representative and she refused to identify herself, her company formal name, company correspondence address and hung up on me.

I received a call from these goons, it is not the first, but it was the first time anybody came on line. He stated that he was with Card Services, the caller ID had CNAM. I asked which Card services Sear, Chase Discover. I told him that I did not like the automated dialing system that he was using. He stated that he was not using one. I told him that I was on the "Do not call list" and wanted my number removed from his auto-dialing machine. He told me that he could not help me. I then asked to speak to his supervisor and was told that only qualified customers could speak to a supervisor. WHAT, I would like to speak to your supervisor. He responded that it is not the companies policy and hung up.

They are saying they are a lower intrest debt. Also they say press 1 if you want to be on their do not call list ok Ive done that over and over I am on the do not call list they are telamaketers they need to be stipped!!!!!!

I have answered calls from this number, get an automated voice response, then when an actual live person comes on the phone......I ask them which credit card are they representing, they don't answer that question.... and they just hang up!!!  I have requested to be put on the do not call list and they are still calling......  guess my next call will be to the FCC!!!

I received two (2) calls 2-1/2 hours apart from 325-000-5687 and 253-246-8518, both with the same woman's voice, both with the same message.  After my outgoing message, which the robo-call talked over, what was left of the message was "...so press 1 now to take advantage of this today."
Caller ID for the first number showed only the number. Second showed "CNAM".

Apparently the do-not-call registry is useless.

They keep saying they will lower my intrest rates on my credit card.... Only I don't have a credit card

These idiots have been calling me for years. They never give up. If you block one number they just call you from another number. I even keep my answering machine turned off so they can't leave their cheesy "this is your last chance to lower your credit card interest rate blah, blah, blah".
So I bought a Panasonic phone a year ago for the number blocking function but it will only block up to 30 numbers so I am constantly having to remove old numbers just to add the new ones they call from. It's relentless, you'd think they would give up!

Please stop all calls from this number!

I got this call too.  No info but they are calling my cell and I'm on a "no call" list.

My grandmother keeps getting calls from this number asking to lower her interest rate.  She is 84, with early alzheimer's and has given out her cc number 3 times in the past few years therefore I have her cards now.   I wish there was something that could be done to stop them immediately!!!
