Rcvd call today on my cell. Didn't leave a msg. I don't pick up calls I do not know. So far first time rcvd from this number.

Said CNAM on caller ID. Just called, 2:20 PM today. No message left. We have received a ton of "credit card" calls this week - recordings from scam companies. Not sure what is going on, but it is mega-irritating and we had been on the DO NOT CALL list, which I guess doesn't exist anymore.

Scamer as all above described.  I will report to FTC, however, I don't think that FTC will do anything as it has been budget for.

Wouldn't you think if CARDHOLDER SERVICES was legit then Googling their name would get you at least 1 hit to a real company instead of hundreds of links to threads like this one?

Press 1 and talk to a person who wants to steal your name, credit, and money.  Usually I just put the phone in front of the TV and let the 2 of them talk it out.

They hang up just as soon as they realize they're not going to get any info out of you.  All we can do about it is vent here.  The real victoms are the few people who fall for these scams.  I'm looking for one of their stories of how nobody can stop these crooks.

How are these people getting away with calling?  I have this number on the DNC list and have since last June!  I thought the purpose of the DNC list was to prevent telemarketers etc from calling your phone!  They have started calling me home all hours of the day/night! It wouldn't be as much of an issue if no one was home BUT my husband works nights and sleeps days and every time they call they wake him up.  One of these days he's going to go off on them (personally I can't wait for that to happen).  Looks like I'll be making a claim with everyone I have to in order to stop them!

CNAM 2532468518 This number keeps calling all the time. They just refuse to quit even though my number is on the "Do Not Call List".

The CNAM  called and left the following message:


"Press one now to find out the terms conditions and associated changes before the next billing cycle. Again, this is your final notice. As it relates to the financial stimulus so press one now to take advantage of this today"

I have blocked this phone number using Call  Block in my phone system

Feb 9, 2012: Showed up on my caller ID but whomever didn't leave a message. First time this has shown up and hoping it will be a last time. I have had voice mails wanting to give me a credit card but the expiration date was soon, a reminder...

This number calls me every day.  Don't know who it is and do not want them to call me.

They leave a message telling me they can lower my credit card interest rate.

whomever is behind this credit card scam phone call that always calls needs to be carried off to jail. There needs to be a mandatory jail sentence for spam robocalls like this that continuously try to sell the same thing daily, weekly, without stop.  Its an invasion of privacy and should be stopped.

call, left message about lowering my credit card rates...funny i do not have any...these are annoying calls.

I don't know who or what person is calling me but they call at all hours of the day. They use CNAM with
another number 252-246-8528 on the ID caller but never leave a message. I need this harassment to
stop immediately.

These are the telephone numbers of harassment callers from 3rd March to 4th April, 2012, made on my residence phone and cell phone.  All numbers were listed on 800notes.com by other people who had received harassment calls from these numbers.

All these numbers were of unknown persons or not recognized by me as companies I knew.  After the first two or three times I stopped answering them and simply rejected the calls unanswered or deleted unheard or unread any messages they left.

The one thing that seems to cause them to stop calling is to simply allow no contact with the harasser who is calling. It seems to me that the harassers purpose of making contact with the called individual is thwarted by simply rejecting him and declining to pay any attention to him at all. This works for telemarketer, solicitors, and so-called surveyors as well. The one thing none of them can abide is to be ignored. If you prevent any contact whatsoever; they lose, you win. When you answer a call or listen to or read a message; the harasser smiles and you become frustrated.  If you answer and immediately hang-up or delete any message; you smile and the harasser becomes frustrated. Right?

keep getting this call on my cell phone. very annoying.

I received a call on my cell, answered, but no one spoke and the call ended after 10 sec.
