They are calling my work number

Had the call for a security price, after three minutes of my wife talking to them, she asked if i wanted the service for 39.99, i got on the phone and told them i have a 12 gauge shotgun thats my security, then he stated what about a 911 service i told him mine was on the phone and worked fine... He then told me he wondered how my wife married such a jerk like me lol, I then gave him some choice words back and hung up... I also am on a dont call list but having fun playing with these choice calls for entertainment purposes :)

Didn't pick up. No message.

Keeps calling several times everyday and doesn't leave a message. I don't answer anything without screening.

Just received a call from this number and blocked it. If you have Century Link (formerly Quest) as your telephone provider, you can have the Call Rejection feature added to your service. Once you receive this kind of call, you simply add that number to your rejection list and the next time they call you, they'll receive a msg that their call has been rejected. I didn't even know I had this feature in my service package but I've been using it since I found out that I have it. Maybe other phone providers have it too and I know you can buy systems or software that will block calls as well. I registered with DNC when it first began but it does not work. It's a joke and nothing is done when you report these type of calls. It's sad that we have to go through this crap to get these calls to stop but at least we can try by using call blocking options. The laws we have on the books do not help much as there are just too many of these scammers out there and the authorities don't have the resources to track them all down. So if you have this feature on your phone system, check it out.

You're an idiot. Republicans are pro-business and anti-regulation. They'd probably remove the donotcall web site altogether and allow businesses to call you any time or day!

My suggestion is don't answer the phone.  These people is random dialing to see who and what time the phone is being picked up and then they sell that info to companies to call you.  Nowadays I don't even turn my answering machine anymore because they record all kinds of craps.  I just let them ring.  That's why it is good to have that cellphone with you and only tell your friends and family to call you on that.  Now I used my home phone for any registration that needs a phone number.  Ya. I am paying that monthly service so that I don't get crap calls on my cellphone.

You know what? I would vote for the person who can put away these people as the next president.  Don't care if they are black, white, yellow or brown.  I will definitely vote for him or her!

I wouldn't be quite so quick to judge the poster.  The advice is sound, and there are a number of VOIP providers out there.  We all have our favorites.  Some, such as Vitelity, are oriented towards those who will implement the functionality they want in the phone system they use, others, such as Callcentric are more "residential friendly".  In any case, the advice to use VOIP is very good if you have a reliable fast Internet connection, and a cell phone to back it up.

I got the call for the security sign - I am on the "DNC" list.  I get at least two calls per day like this from other outfits.  I now try to reach a human being and then I let them have it with the AIR HORN. This outfit only had a voice mail for me to blast, so I did it anyway.  WISH THESE CALLS WOULD STOP - I HAVE FILED MANY COMPLAINTS TO donotcall.gove AND IT DOESN'T HELP!!

This is only one of a whole host of numbers from these jerks.  There seems to be no way to stop them, so probably best to ignore any call that you don't recognise.  I will keep on reporting them just in case there's a way to shut them down.

Have told them several times to remove me from their list ... continue to get two calls a day.

They called again - and again, their call was blocked.

Folks  - buy a call blocking phone.
