people keep calling and I don't answer. damn shame you can't answer your own ph, all these DNC Lists aren't worth a damn, rpts go nowhere, so what the hell. What is the Govn't doing w/all this? Nothing I guess, just like the whole administration has done for 3 1/2 yrs. We need help now, you got the p0h #'s, so do something...!!!!!

All these calls from this number and numbers like them just may be bill collectors (collection agencies). They have vast resources and can call u from almost any number they want and can call their caller I'd name anything they want.   Since they are collecting a debt they do not have to obey the do not call list and can lie to you about anything and everything.

The caller is most likely Maximum Security of Sacramento, CA  hawking Monitronics monitoring for home security systems. "HelpStopTom" in a forum on this site has the lowdown.

Left no message ... obviously not a legitimate business.

These callers are  SCAMS. They call all the time. DO not give them any information and you CAN BLOCK them if you have that setting.  Here are the numbers that I found to be SCAMMERS!!!! I am keeping a log and will be posting them each time they call!

Yeah, just got the same call with the same caller ID from the same number.  Didn't answer either, no message left.

Thanks for the FCC complaint number.  I'm home days and receive many annoying telemarketing calls, and I have every phone number in this household on the do-not-call-unless-you-want-to-annoy-me list, including this 253-382-9083.   I read that there is only a 1% response ratio to these solicitation calls, and I would guess that includes complaints.  What does that stat say to you?  I just filed a complaint via that FCC number, and I'm going to continue to do until the FCC is overwhelmed.

Received call from this #. Call-Id say Cust Support. Yeah, wants to give me a free home alarm system, if I let them put up a sign on my property. Funny Thing, I live on a private dirt road with no traffic or neighbors.

Just got 2nd call today at 2:15pm which I didn't answer and they didn't leave a mesage. Have been getting calls every day several times a day.

I have had this call too and I did a google search on GE Security Systems and ther is such a business and ther is an ad for an installation. Today I pressed 1 and the voice said " hello, this is Kevin. Very polite. How can I help he asked. I said I was curious about why a co would offer free security system in exchange for putting a sign in our yard? He asked Why would this surprise you and I said well nothing In this wolrld is free. He then said " indeed" and hung up.

These are disgusting and vile people.  I stayed on the line to remind them of the do not call registry and they responded with the most vile and vulgar language you could imagine. I reported them to the FCC and filed a complaint with the national do not call registry.  The company name is GE Solutions, they called themselves General Electric  which they are clearly not.  Please report them.

There is such an easy solution to these repeat telemarketing calls........Please check in to this.  Get a VOIP landline (VOIPO.com is my favorite, and no, I'm not a company rep, just a very satisfied customer).  This only works if you have internet; but you don't need to have your computer on, just the router.  Once installed (takes about 5 minutes) you can send any telephone call automatically either directly to voice mail or...my favorite... give them either a disconnected message or a busy signal simply by a few simple clicks of the mouse.  Whatever number shows up on the caller ID is the number that gets routed. (I send ALL "restricted" calls directly to the DISCONNECTED signal.  Of course, you can allow the calls to ring through if you want.  Here's the best part... unlimited local and long distance calling (continental US) and if you go with the 2 year prepaid option you're monthly cost is around $7.50.  Check it out.  You'll save money and shut out these repeat nuisance callers forever.

If you go online and register a complaint with the FCC and if they get enough complaints, they will investigate. The address is http://www.fcc.gov/complaints. My number is on the DNC list, and you can file a complaint at that website too, but I've found the FCC to be more responsive.

I received multiple calls from this number, in spite of my number being on the do not call list.  My caller ID also showed Customer Support.  I have since found out that the number belongs to a telemarketing firm in Orlando, FL that does business under the name of HD United and HD Daytona Center.  Please file a complaint with the FTC and put a stop to the illegal activities of this company.

Sorry, I have to laugh at posts like this who say the DNC list doesn't work and it's a waste. That's like saying laws against robbing banks are useless because, well, bank robbers sometimes rob banks.

The people who ignore the DNC are CRIMINALS. They don't care if they break the law. But for every criminal there are hundreds of legitimate companies who do respect the DNC list.

I cannot believe that people need this sort of thing explained to them.

I'm now receiving 3 or 4 calls per day from these idiots. They have both my home phone number and my cell phone number. Usually there is no message. They just let the phone ring 2-3 times and hang up. I no longer answer any call unless I recognize the caller ID. The complete failure of state governments and the federal  leaders to bring this problem to a close just demonstrates how profound is the incompetence of the liars, thieves, drunks, lawyers, idiots and fools we have elected to govern us.
