This caller calls me on a daily basis. Thank you for the info. Now I do not have to pick up the phone.

the call says press 1 for more info, press 1 and the same BS starts all over again, press 1 and same thing.  nobody to talk to.  press 9 to be on their do not call list, time only allows to hit 9 and it saves it to vm.  several calls this week.

I have to wonder if it ever did do any good ;-)

Called today at 2 pm .  Of course no message left.

On do not call list -

The company calling is Home Security Solutions, representing GE Honeywell. Here are my posts, they are calling from several numbers. DO YOUR PART and REPORT THEM.

on 9-24-12, 503-902-8143 Called my home again today. They are scaring the crap out of my kids. Upon answering, the mans voice says "The FBI has reported that there is a home invasion in your neighborhood, please press 1 to learn how to be protected." This company calls repeatedly despite the fact we are on the "do not Call list" AND having pressed '*' to be removed. Today I pressed '1' and spoke to a man and asked who was calling, he hung up on me!

10/1   They called 9/24, see my post above. They called on 9/28 and left a vm on answering machine. They called again today, this time from 253-382-9083. Same recording, same man's voice. This time I pretended to be interested in their security system, a man identified himself as JC with Home Security Solutions. He asked me if we have a home security system, I said yes, it was Brinks. He said they sell for GE Honeywell, at which point I said please take me off your list... and he hung up on me. If you are reading this, please check back, I am calling everyone from the Secretary of State down and will find out who you need to contact with complaints!!! They called the wrong lady, I am DONE with this crap and will NEVER purchase GE HONEYWELL!

It was the FBI calling about something.  I hung up.   Call Block didn't work on this number.  What good is it?

The govt "Do Not Call" system is as worthless as any other govt agency. I wrote my senator to ask him to vote to shut down this worthless taxpayer money sucking agency!

Call the number back - it is a sales call and they will remove your number.

Two more calls to report, both numbers are new to the constant onslaught of calls I've been getting lately, although I've gotten "SERVICE CALL" from two other numbers before, 425-658-8904 and 901-881-4493:

I suspect these are part of the same scam organization that has been calling me constantly from a variety of numbers for six months now.  More detail and numbers that have been bombarding me with calls are listed in my posts here:

How much is not having these calls bother you?  Search for the word "Digitone".  It has paid for itself many times over, especially in an election year.
Disclaimer: I have absolutely no working relationship with this company.  This is not an advertisement. I am just a satisfied customer who tried the rest (PhoneTray, etc.) and didn't want to leave my computer on all the time, but wanted peace and quiet from the obnoxious telemarketers and have lost any faith I had in the the Do-Not-Call list (what a joke).

How much is not having these calls bother you WORTH?  Sorry.

I found that newer Cell phones can block hundreds or thousands of numbers.
Andriod/Iphone can block even more..   Cell phones can perform the block without even ringing the phone.

Add to that. I Bluetooth connect to my Panasonic cordless phones which have talking caller id.

DNC listed for 9 years and counting.  This number showed up on my caller id @1:10pm EST today.
New Rule since going 100% wireless in 2012. Never answer calls from unknown numbers!!

That's where Talking caller id on Bluetoothed Panasonic phone helps a lot.

Any missed calls are Google'd first, if they hit like this number, then they are added to my cell phone robo group/block list. Any subsequent calls from those blocked numbers(without ringing), will quickly get dumped into voice mail hell. Which answers, "user has not set up voice mail", hangs up, and doesn't cost me air time :-).

I too am on the "do not call list" and have pushed #9 many times to be removed but continue to get these annoying calls!  I'm a telecommuter and my job depends on my phone and NOT being interrupted when I'm in meetings, etc.

This call is always from the same company and says, "We'll give you a 'free' security system' for your home
if you let us put a sign in your yard. Press 9 to be removed from the call list."

It doesn't help!

Yes, 253-382-9083, caller id: Customer Support is selling home alarm services (and others apparently). The home alarm service is for: Home Security Solutions, 919-248-4839. FYI
