Something must be done to help fix these problem. Caller ID as customer support, this caller hung up at 10:14 a.m.

I am constantly getting calls from these people who refuse to take you off their list and keep harassing. Why do we pay such high prices for a phone if you can't do anything about these people. They need to be stopped.

There is such an easy solution to these repeat telemarketing calls........Please check in to this.  Get a VOIP landline (VOIPO.com is my favorite, and no, I'm not a company rep, just a very satisfied customer).  This only works if you have internet; but you don't need to have your computer on, just the router.  Once installed (takes about 5 minutes) you can send any telephone call automatically either directly to voice mail or...my favorite... give them either a disconnected message or a busy signal simply by a few simple clicks of the mouse.  Whatever number shows up on the caller ID is the number that gets routed. (I send ALL "restricted" calls directly to the DISCONNECTED signal.  Of course, you can allow the calls to ring through if you want.  Here's the best part... unlimited local and long distance calling (continental US) and if you go with the 2 year prepaid option you're monthly cost is around $7.50.  Check it out.  You'll save money and shut out these repeat nuisance callers forever.

I got a call from them on 3/26/2012 at 9:56am EST. I answered, said Hello and heard nothing. Then I heard what sounded like someone picking up the phone so I said hello again and they hung up. We have had this phone for 3 weeks now. Our number is on the Do Not Call List but we still get calls all the time. However, we haven't got as many since we put our number on the list. This is the first time this number has called. Their caller ID name showed up as the number that they called from. So their name was 2533829083 and their phone number showed up as 253-382-9083.

The person who owns this # may actually be Stephen Hamilton with a company called PacficTel not the phone company but a scammer telemarketing company. Mr. Hamilton's direct personal # is 310-895-0574 - feel free to call him and harass him right back. The address associated with PacificTel is 12228 Venice Blvd. #559 Los Angeles CA 90066 - a scummy apartment area in East LA. This number is calling everyday, but no one says anything, I block the number but they still keep calling.  I have now reported to the police and they are working with my phone company.

When you dial 1 to be added to their list, the calls will stop for a short time and then they will call back on a slightly different number. File a FCC complaint and they will actually stop, from my experiance.

This number has been calling for the last three days trying to sell a home security product under the idea that the FBI strongly encourages their product be used to protect a home owner.  

It is a very unwanted call and product!

This  company presents itself in a confusing way.  It initially addresses the police in my neighborhood or   the FBI.  They are trying to sell security products and they call multiple times a day.  I am on the no call list and I am very angry.  I pressed a prompt to talk to a rep to remind them I am on the no call list.  "Carla" answered but hung up on me when I told her I was on the no call list.  They  have been told before but persist with this harrassament and using the names of the FBI and local police to get your attention.

Got a call from the number a little after noon. The number was one of my Google numbers. Google has something called Google Voice. It lets you chose a number anywhere in the USA and maybe Canada and lets you call free anywhere in USA or Canada. I have three, two in my local area code and one in my Aunts area code. I noticed my Aunt would always call me from her cell (No long distance plan on home line). And she would only talk a few minutes at a time. I got a Google Voice number in her area code and called her from it. When she realized she could call me on that number from her home line and it was a local call. Now we talk over an hour sometimes. These numbers are free, let you call anywhere USA Canada free and you can have them ring multiple numbers. So if you gave someone the Google number and they called you, you could have it ring your cell, home and work numbers. All three would get the call and you could answer at which ever place you where at. Or you could only have it ring your cell. I'm sure it's a big hit with cheaters, because you can add a person's number to the address book and set special rules for how it's handled. You could have the mistress go to voice-mail after a certain time. Plus you can set it to screen calls, so the person has to say a message which you hear 1st. Then you can press 1 to answer or 2 to send them to voice-mail. I have a group called family, anyone in that group comes straight through. Anyone not in that group gets screened. I have ooma phone service, I will add this telemarketer (I called)number to my block list. I had the Google number they called going to my old AT&T Ringmaster 2nd line. Dropped AT&T like a hot potato so the calls were going to voice mal I guess. Google number sends me emails of any calls or texts(yes you can send and receive texts), so I didn't get to answer the call.

The reason a large portion of the people are having trouble with this number is because this number is being "Spoofed" by Delta Outsource Group, a collection agency located in O'Fallon, MO.  They will try and gather enough information to create an account.  Many bank accounts have been drained by this establishment and many "Spoofed" phone numbers have been fraudulently used to aquire information.
This not only hurts people by the harrassment, but also hurts the establishment that the number belongs to.

Caller ID said "Customer Support".  Recorded message was offering to help me get out of my home mortgage problems.  Press "1" to talk to a live person, press "3" to be removed from caller list.

Robocall with "important information about my mortgage."  (Except that I have no mortgage.)  Blah blah blah "attorney-backed program' (whatever that means) blah blah blah press 1 to speak to a mortgage consultant immediately if you are in danger of losing your home or press 3 to be removed from out list.  

Caller ID reads: "CUSTOMER SUPPOR" -- I guess they mean support.  But it's a scam for I am not a customer of theirs nor will I ever be.  

Hang up.  Press NO numbers.  Doing so only validates that the number the auto-dialer has reached is a real number.

Add this scammer to your phone book under SCAM or block the number if your phone has that capability.  

Immediately report all llegal telemarketing calls to www.donotcall.gov.

Called in Western North Carolina 5-9-12 at 7:21 pm.   Said was with GE HOme Security.  I asked if they check the federal Do Not Call list. "Josh" said that it is a service bureau that makes the calls and that when I pressed "1" it connected the call to him.  He said he and GE are not liable for any violations of the DNC list because "we.." didn't make the call, you pressed 1 to get connected, and "you don't have a [***] leg to stand on."  Great representation for GE Security!
