All one needs to do is look at their BBB listing. Sure BBB has them rated a B, but the amount of complaints are almost at 1,000. One must also note that the BBB may rate them a B, but as long as the company responds to the complaints in a timely manner they could have 10,000 complaints and still be B-rated.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Actually I found a company the other day with over 3000 complaints and A rated.

No surprising at all. 3,000 people can't be right! Noooooooo!
A simple google search finds that they have their own fan page on Facebook called "Almost Scammed by Dynamic Recovery Solutions".
They are not BBB accredited.
