Comes up Philadelphia Pa on caller id.  All the calls from this number seem far away and distant.  You can bearly hear the person calling.  Top this issue... some crazy woman demanded to speak to my spouse.  I asked was she a telemarketer?  She lied and said no.  Then she yell at me and tried to treat me like a child.  I immediately disconnected the call.  Tried to call back to get a supervisor and the company actually have an answering machine and fax connected to the phone.  Sent a fax more than once requesting the company to remove my number but the same nutty woman keeps calling back.  Now she calls back and upon hearing my voice hangs up.  I feel like I am trying to catch my husband's mistress and stalker. It's just a frightening feeling.  Don't know what to do.  Anyone know exactly who this Willow Grove telemarketing serivce might be.

I keep getting calls from this phone number as the lady above spoke of, however, the person does not talk to me. There is no one there. Then they hang up, so I did as the other woman and called back and got the answering machine and told of the fax. I left two messages to tell them to take my number off their call list. I tried reversed lookup and say it was from willow grove PA. I just wish them to stop calling.

I just got this call and I've gotten many other weird phone calls this week. I pick up and than they hang up. Today I got a message from the 888 number I listed below and it sounded like somebody was driving in acar talking with somebody and listening to the radio. Then I called back the same exact number and I got some hotel. I got a call from 267-851-6441 today, also a call from 954 905 4135, AND a call from an 888 685 0042.

What is going on! Please, let me know

These people have called seventeen times in the past week.  They call and just sit there or hang up.  Finally my husband spoke to someone and after he told them to quit calling they hung up on him.  We've called them back and left several messages but they still call.  I can't seem to get info on them from reverse lookup.  They told my husband they were calling from American Financial Services.

Someone with a heavy accent from this number called regarding financial aid I recently applied for.  They said I was eligible for over $4000 in grant (aka FREE) money, but in order to receive it, I'd have to pay them $359. I work at a college, and am enrolled for the summer quarter. I'm not sure how they got my phone number and knew that I had applied for Federal Financial Aid, but I know this is a scam.

yeupp..this numbers phoned my cellphone in the past week and nobody has spoken. I say, we all call them back, and, block their line! ha!

No response. Phone just sits active and dead. Call back revealed greeting and request to leave a message

I get a call from this number at least once a day.. Very annoying!

THIS IS A FRAUD SCAM - READ ALL CAREFULLY!!!
Found out they are in Willow Grove, PA - a company called Core Communications. Also telling me they I am approved for Government Grant of $4500 -  free money from the Government. A woman is on the other end or there is no one there. If you call back it askes for you to leave your info. or to send a fax.
One thing I do KNOW is the government NEVER calls you about free money. If the gov. gives out a grant you have to apply in person or by mail and then the gov. contacts you by mail ONLY! I know this b/c I have a friend who actually works in the Grant Office here in Mass. Also, gov. funded grants are funded by the state, NOT federal. They will want to verify your personal info. and if they don't ask you for a money order they may ask for your bank account info. DON"T send them a money order, you will loose your money and DON'T give them any personal info and CALL THE POLICE to report what you know. If you do this they will record the harassment and attempted fraud in your persoal police record and may be able to pass on the info to the appropriate dept.'s to be followed up on properlly.

I've gotten 7 calls Yester day and 1 already from this stupid number, it's really starting to tick me off!!

This guy keeps calling me. The number shows as from PhiladelPhia, PA. The guy says that I have received grant for $4000 (for free) and he needs my bank information to transfer the funds. Upon asking for official letter of any such grant or any contact information, he says that this "package" is sent out only once at cost of $359 and no other information can be given. I get this call more than 2-3 times a day and now its getting on my nerves. It's a fraud.

I too have received phone calls from this number.  There is a foreign speaking lady on the other end who also tells me that I have been chosen to receive a grant in the amount of 4000+ dollars but they need a processing fee of 359.00 and want your banking number.  The first time, I was very suspicious and asked for their address and a phone number.  Another lady came on the line who was a supervisor and she told me that they could not give any information out until I paid the 359.00.  I told them that I had to have an address and phone number before I would give them any information.  The lady just hung up.  Now today, I have received the same phone call again about the same grant.  Again, I told them that I had spoken to them yesterday and they would not give me an address or phone number.  So this time, the lady just hung up without saying another word.  This is definitely a scam.  If these calls are originating out of Pensylvania, everyone needs to call the police department and report these people.  I hope no one will be taken in by their scams.

I got 2 calls from these scam artists today claiming that I'll receive a $4500 grant from the government.  Common sense tells me that if the government won't give me unemployment benefits -which I contributed to via payroll deductions then they definately are not going to give me $4500 scot-free.  Everytime I asked the caller which branch of the government was issuing the money they hung up. I tried to fax them but the fax won't go thru. These people are scam artists who prey on people's ignorance and greed.  On Monday, I'm going to report them to any and every media that I can think of so that they can be exposed for the low life predators they are.

Calls incessantly. No less than 10 times a day if you don't pick up. I have asked to be removed from their call list- they continute to call

OMG! I know what you mean- I have received calls from two of those numbers- as well as 727-524-0800 and 800-981-8380. I called and left messages on their machines to remove my phone number. Doesn't seem to work- they just call back from another number. Finally I told them remove me from their and all their affiliated phone number databases.

same as everyone else when i talked to someone, i told her i was going to call police and she told me to go ahead and call the popo- haha what legit business would want the cops called,

soliciting me for a government grant and trying to get my personal information bank account routing numberand social security! FRaud

I talked with these people- today for the first time. The name of the company they claim to be with is American Standard Financial. They wouldnt give me their website information w/o verifying my banking account routing numbers. I told them they can't veryify what they don't have. I think instructed them to send me a copy of their DO NOT CALL POLICY as well as their DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. If they call back- I am going to see if I can get more information. Maybe if everyone posts what they can get from these guys- we can put it all together and make it stop.

I was reciving a lot of phone calls from this number and they kept hanging up on me.  One day I called and left a message telling them to either tell me who they are or quit calling me, a few hours later they called me again, so I called and left a pretty rude message and they have not called me since, it has been about a week.  But now I have two other numbers doing the same thing.
