Called today, 7/14/18, did not leave mesg.  Sound as if theses lowlifes are searching for working numbers which they can sell to other lowlifes overseas. Number BLOCKED!!

Ph# 303-280-8689. This is a Scam.  They scammed my elderly mother of $745.00  Do not answer.  Hang up immediately.  The phone company will not help you.

Robo calls… Female voice… Calling to confirm if you received your new yellow pages… Enough… Now blocked

My caller ID showed an Unknown number with no message left.  Therefore, that = telemarketers, scammers or fake bill collectors.  Most of these are "robo calls using spoofed numbers.  NEVER give or verify personal, credit card, bank or financial information to ANYONE who makes an unsolicited or “cold” call to you!!!  I recently resorted to turning off the ringer on on my phones so they can't annoy me anymore.

When we pulled out of the drive today, I commented: "What is that package lying in the ditch next to the drive?" Now I know. It is a phone book in a plastic wrapper. This company calls to see if the person they hired is delivering the phonebooks or tossing them in the dump and claiming they did their job. They are only a SCAM if they try to sell you something that does not exist or cheat you out of money. Verifying you got your phonebook(even though no one uses them) is not a scam call.

Why are you here if you know who it is? Also, just because it was legit for YOU does not mean it will be legit for OTHERS-scammers do SPOOF such numbers. All you've done is make yourself look like a shill

Call received, left unanswered. Based on previous comments left by others, I would surmise that caller is a Yellow Pages delivery contractor who's checking to see that their books actually got delivered. Since I did get a phone book yesterday (does anybody still use them?), I think that's probably the case, so if you get a call, you can confirm, or just hang up if you don't want to be bothered with it.

With the history of this number going back to 2007, I would assume it's a scammer. Anyone telling you otherwise is probably affiliated with them.  I haven't received phone books. there is no reason this number should call and say nothing or leave no message if they were really concerned about phone books. I am also on the Do NOT call Registry, but crooks don't care, nor do they follow the laws of the land!

From what I can gather, they do deliver phonebooks door-to-door, and I did receive one recently. I'm just glad its not a thief out to take my money.

Called & hung up when our machine came on.  We no longer answer our phone!
