PORTFOLIO RECOVERY calling at 8am they never seam to run out of numbers and i never run out of there numbers to block and have told they keep calling i keep blocking

Yes, they have thousands of numbers they call from.  This is a much better and more permanent solution:

So do I. We stopped communicating with them years ago after they turned in a 1099-C to the IRS when we told them to stop calling. We appealed---and when they failed to respond to the IRS's request for documentation to support their claim, they defaulted. Now they are calling again. We just ignore them and utilize our telecommunications provider's call blocking service.

You should be able to find a way to block numbers not in your contact list then. Search your play store for a blocking app and you're likely to find a good one that allows you to kill private callers.~I Was Prepared~JustinCase

called this morning, left no message, i figured them...added to reject list....

The way I did it on my old cell phone was to create a group of callers that I would accept only as new numbers just get hanged up on automatically. I need to do the same with this one now since I just got new phone.

Portfolio Recovery, these dumb [***] called at 845pm.  Old debt that dropped from my report and still trying to collect....

Portfolio Recovery again... I answered the phone and blurted out 'This call is being recorded'. They responded that they don't approve of the recording (Even though they say that they are recording the call themselves). Told the guy that ALL calls are automatically recorded on my phone and no I will not stop the recording. The Caller ID displayed Chicago Plumbers but I recognized the number from here.

They call at all hour and leave no message

Zombie Collector, trying to resurrect debts beyond the statute of limitations.  If you talk to them, they can restart the legal clock on limitations and hound you worse.  Get a call blocker and ignore them...which is the best revenge that they can't hook you into their games.

You have to make a payment to reset the clock.

They continue to call at all hours on my cell phone the debt is timed out and I am on SSI disability they continue to call the different numbers my cell and my landline

They called me asking about my uncle who passed away several years ago and who never shared a number with me it was very upsetting and unpleasant!

just called me at 8:30PM .. too late. I asked who it was and they said "don't worry, I'll call back another time"
