Got a call yesterday from this number, but since I did not know M S Gerald,  I did not answer the phone and also have turned off my answering machine.  But found out that this M S Gerald is a collection agency.  First off,  I don't have any bad debt. My bills are all paid and don't owe anything.  I am on the DO NOT CALL list and that's a big joke.  So M S Gerald if you look at this message, stop calling me.  I will not answer EVER.

Actually, you are entitled to one free credit report per year which you can get at annualcreditreport.com. This is an actual free credit report and this site does not ask you to enter any payment information unless you want your credit score. Your credit report is free. Freecreditreport.com suckers you in to buying their services and it is really not free.

This pile of scum at 312 922-6500 keeps calling my minor daughter and hanging up.  My google search shows it is a collection agency in Chicago.

I will block this number on her phone.

If I get this scumbag in a room I will beat the living hell out him.

The Do Not Call list only applies to telemarketers, not debt collectors.

However this telemarketer is they should learn how to speak English or go back to their own country. It's bad enough they waste my time....now I can't even understand them!

I keep getting calls from this number and they never leave a message.

This company called me stating they were attorneys and that I owe for a magazine account. After careful research we have found they are not attorneys, a violation of Federal and State Law. I live in Massachusetts and have found they are not licensed to collect in my state. I am working with the Massachusetts attorney Generals office and the Federal Trade Commission to prosecute this firm for criminal actions. I also have 7 other consumers who paid this company and we are filing a class action suit against "Malcolm S Generald" and it's principal David Stein. If anyone else has been effected please contact the Massachusetts Attorney Generals office to get involved with the class action. David Stein used a false name filing in the state of Illinois as a corporation. Another Felony in the state of Illinois. These criminals have messed with the wrong person and I will take this all the way until they are in a federal prison. All of the employees in this company will be held liable as well. I believe it falls under a conspiracy/ Rico case as they all are conspiring to fraud consumers together. I will be at every hearing. See you soon.

I block and reject there number still they call...and say I have a account that was open after  the said deposit  day

All debt collectors are just bottom feeders......

Called on my cell, which I have had for at least 15 years, looking for the guy who had it before me.  I used to get a lot of calls for him of this type, but not for the last 10 years or so. Caller spoke good English, pronounced the name he was looking for clearly, and after I explained, said he would remove my number from his list.  We'll see.
He didn't give his company name, but I Googled and it came right up.

Received a call from this number so I looked it up and it came up as Malcolm S. Gerald and Associates asked for Oscar with my same last name and city I suppose. Excused himself politely and said he would call the "other" number he has.

Got off work to find 6 missed calls from these people and not one message. They called again after I got home from work. When I answered, they hung up. I called back and got a real person and asked why they call me and hang up when I answer. She started with a barrage of questions, what was my name, what was my phone number, what was my address. I told her that I had never heard of them and if they had a ligitimate debt to mail it to me. She asked again what my name was and what my address was. I told her I was recording the call and NOT to contact me by phone again and if they did, my next call was to the FTC. She hung up. I just got copies of my credit reports and this company is not on any of them. If I get another phone call, I will report them to the FTC. I have done it before and it really gets their attention.

I am receiving these calls as well. I refuse to answer any number I do not recognize because I have heard of scams that can hack your number by just answering. I do not owe anyone any money. I know this for a fact. I had a medical bill at one point but they did not file the proper paperwork with my insurance company and that has been over a year and a half ago. Greer! This really ticks me off especially reading prior comments. They have no right to bully or scare people.I am assuming this is a debt collector from reading previous comments.

Got a call from this number at work.Couldn't hear her name.When ask to repeat she started yelling and was very rude. I hung up and call that number and got her supervisor.I told her the story and I was going to report the company.

Another new number calling me. I owe no debts. Was just thinking the other day that I have not heard from scammer debt collectors in awhile. Oh well that is what I get! No answer, no message, going to block.

This company keeps calling but stops after two or three rings.  Leaves no message.  I think they might have the number from someone who lived here over ten years ago but not now.

Even TALKING to may start the seven years over again. If you notice on your credit report, it says "Date of last activity". Has anyone here worked for one of the credit reporting agencies that can confirm this?
