They call my mom about 3 times EVERYDAY and they always leave a voicemail

I received this call on my cell phone.It looks like a collection agency. Why would it be. I have all my bills paid in full. Please don't call me again. I was wondering why they keep calling me. Let me know what to do. Thanks.

They keep calling an old magic jack number of mine.  Despite the fact that I cancelled the MJ service many moons ago, I still get voicemail notifications even though I don't hear the phone ring or have the ability to make outgoing calls.

Anyhoo, they call every day and leave an automated voicemail that says, "If you continue to listen to this message, you're verifying your are <name>."  

In any case, I don't owe anyone any money; I suspect this is debt is wayyyy old and they're re-dating it using my voicemail "confirmation".  Which has to be totally flipping illegal.  You can't claim you made contact with someone because a voicemail box kept recording.

I'm about to call them and give them a piece of my mind if I run my ACR next month and see anything on there.

God forbid I actually answer because they probably won't stop calling.

I have been getting harrasing phone calls from these a++holes.  They apparently  are looking for my son and are not telling me know where the call from or who they really are.  The woman that just called me was Ms, Anderson, and her extension is 368...VERY ABNOXIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!Please take care of this and call me to make arrangements to get these people off m house phone....Thanks, Mel

These jackholes have been leaving me messages for months, which I just delete without even listening to them.  

I just pulled my annual credit reports last week and there are zero accounts in collections on any of the reports.  Furthermore, the *only* account even present my reports is my student loan, which is in perfect standing.  I have not had a credit card since the late 90s, and I have not ever taken out a loan other than the one for school.

What **IS** on my credit reports is a hard inquiry from a check cashing company...someone fraudulently tried to get a payday loan in my name recently.

Not sure quite yet if the two are related, but today the payday loan company's fraud department pointedly asked me if I've been getting any sketchy collection calls lately.

Called me a few times looking for someone else (the previous owner of my number) They can't seem to grasp the fact that people can change their phone #s. Got very rude at one point. Finally told them to go eff themselves and then installed a app to hang up on them every time.

I'm getting calls too its same person says his name is jack n is calling bout my medical compensation he speaks broken English and I don't have any medical problems glad I checked this out on here

do not call my home every single day.  i just moved in 1 month ago and i do not have any outstanding bills.  do not harass me.

Same as other post.  Only hang ups after listening to my voicemail.

I was constantly getting calls from these ppl. They always left messages.  One day I called them back. I spoke with Paul at extension 319. He was a very nice guy. I set up a payment plan with him. They told me in 6 months my debt would be paid off.  I complimented him on how polite he was and everything.  February of 2014 was my 6th month mark.  Checked my account tonight and they took out another payment.   Going to the bank Monday to change my account info and hopefully get my money back. Until then feel free to harass paul on Behalf of all ppl who bust their butts to do for others, provide for their family and do right but get screwed over anyways.  Never again will I be so nieve.  :( so disappointed with myself!!

number called me asking for one of my son's friends. this number has never been used by my son nor his friend. heck as of 2 months ago this number was NOT even at this address. it is a collection agency and have taken all the means possible to locate this YOUNG boy.

I just recently learned that I owed back rent on an apartment I wasn't living at but was still some how signed on the lease for.... I originally owed 1grand.. This agency somehow added on over $3000 within this last year!! Wtf! I called them once I found out they were messing with my credit to work out a payment plan or something & they were nothing but rude and unhelpful! I've requested to have payment information mailed out to me multiple times & I've received nothing! I've been waiting for over 3 months now! Last time I  tried calling this awfully unprofessional agency, the guy was exceptionally RUDE. He said that they did mail out information to me when they didn't! When I  asked what address they had for me he demanded I just give them my email instead. When I responded with "I do not have the Internet so sending things to my email would not be helpful" he said "well if you can't afford the Internet you obviously can't afford your rent" then he hung up!! Wtf! I'm not paying for Internet so I CAN make payments on stuff like that. I've been hung up on so many times when all I want is information to start making payments by mail!! They will not help me! They just keep adding onto my debt & calling me at odd times of the day without leaving any voicemails! I'm about to see a lawyer for this! It's ridiculous!

Called; when I answered they put me on HOLD.  REALLY.  You call me and then put me on HOLD.  I HUNG UP.  SCAM

There is nothing worse than a bottom feeder which buys and old debt on pennies on a dollar and try to collect knowing that it has run out of collection time: Do not answer these people or pay  a cent: If you do the 7 years start from day one.

These people are a complete nuisance.
Too many calls over too long a time and no good reason for any of them.
Maybe I'll just start calling them repeatedly and hanging up--if I can find an 800 number for them.
