- madmomIf this is a collection company.. they need to hire someone else.. my daughter answered my phone.. they asked if I lived here..she said yes.. then this man went on a rant and scared the crap out of my kid.. even saying he would take me to my county court.. I don't owe this guy a dime.. but.. if he keeps this up or ever tries it again.. he might owe me. I work for my county court.. so Buddy.. see ya there.. just might not be setting in the seats u might have wanted.. It is not right to speak about anything to anyone other than a person who holds an account.. tricking a child .. isn't in the deal.. threats arn't allowed either.. soooo come on.. lets dance jerk..

- Anonym replies to fff| 4 repliesAs usual, these collection creeps refuse to identify the who, what, when, and where. They are absolutely crude in TRYING to REDATE anything that you owe, may have owned or never owned. They also are famous for trying to collect on debts that HAVE BEEN PAID. My advice would be that anyone who is contacted by them should get a credit report @freecreditreport.com and see what's happening. Remember debt collectors buy and sell "DEBT". Oh yes, one more thing...NEVER give them credit card, debit card or banking information...they will absolutely try to collect from you at the face value (THEIR'S) of the so called amount...plus anything they want to tack on.
- bettyrepaet caller any time
- CharlieI strongly suggest everyone experiencing harassing phone calls go to Radio Shack and purchase a telephone line recorder module and a digital voice recorder (about $50 for the setup).
Hook it up to your phone line and start the recorder before you answer the phone. This way, everything said will be captured for future evidence in court proceedings.
After you get sufficient evidence over several calls, when they call and start in on you, interrupt them and say "Hold on a second, my recorder is not working right". The next sound you will hear will be the dial tone and they will never call you again, if they are smart. Recorders are like cryptonite to collectors because they know they are saying things against the FCRA and FDCPA laws.
I hope to have printed shortly a bumper sticker that I will sell for cost. The bumper sticker should be taken to the parking lots of collection agencies and put on the bumpers of everyone who works at the agency. The sticker reads "Please don't tell my mother I am a debt collector. She thinks I am a piano player in a whorehouse".- Caller: M S Gerald

- JalehKittyI've had a "phone-bot" calling me at all hours of the day and night for several weeks. These are automated calls that collect data on what days/times you are most likely to answer your phone. Now, armed with their ill-gotten list of connection times, the soul-sucking bottomfeeders are dialing me directly. After suffering weeks of their annoying bot calls, the evil troll on the phone isn't even looking for me! He's looking for someone who used to have this cellphone number. Umm - this has been MY number for well over 7 years, so the debt they're trying to collect is even older than their contact info. LAME!!! Statute of Limitations has expired. How is trying to collect on this even legal?!? We need some seriously strict legislation to stop these freekin bot calls and subsequent harrassment.
