I am a  CANCER PAITENT and that filthy white trash scum just had the audacity to call me at 10:30 on a Saturday morning. Maybe someone in their family should get cancer, like one of their kids, so they might learn a little respect and NOT BOTHER PEOPLE. The number was 314-963-8895. They did not leave a message on my tape machine. I screen my calls because I am trying to keep my stress level down. Fat chance with these disgusting losesrs out there. Prostitution is a more honest job.

We have a new cell phone and #. They call and no message is left. called the 314-845-2825 number and they removed our listing.  Thanks to people logging and letting everyone know.

I've been getting calls from this company for a while now. Now that i know they're telemarketers i think i'll have some fun when ever they call. Like put them on hold for hours on end or make them listen to something traumatizing.

Sorry, the national Do Not Call Registry does not work.  Our fat federal government is not enforcing the do not call registry.  I registered with www.donotcall.gov three years ago and calls from 314-963-8895 continue.

Get several calls a day on my cell phone. I am also on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.  I contacted the BBB and made a complaint!

This company has called me a few times off and on since late June 2009, and I figured that it was a scam. They tried to convince me to subscribe to the Times Picayune (major newspaper here in New Orleans), and I wanted to know why someone from the TP would be calling from a '314' area code. They claimed to work with the Times Picayune (yeah, right), and I told them that I wasn't interested.

Thank you for advice of contacting the BBB and filing a complaint with the DNC registry. I wouldn't bother calling the company back and asking who sold your number to them. Of course they're going to say the major newspaper in your area after you give them your location or they look at your area code.

I have received calls from this jerk too.  I researched the number and it is a private home in St. Louis Mo.  It is not a company.  His house is even shown on the arial map along with his name and number at yellowpages.com.  Do not give out any personal or email info. to this scam artist.

I recently visited different schools websites to try to get information about online courses.....since then, I've been getting calls from 314 numbers, 801 numbers, 636 numbers.....This has to have something to do with it

you are absolutely right it is thepisagroup.com that uses 314-963-8895 and 636-935-7146.  They are telemarketers, and if you ask them how they got your telephone number they say your local paper. I called the local paper and they say that is how you got your newspaper from us . . they are our telemarketers. Then he said the 314 area code was PISA and the 636 number is actually the local newspaper so in effect they were doubling up on us. thank you for your help . . "ask the question" where did you get the phone number?  We are on the laughable DO NOT CALL feds list, and receive political survey calls; and we changed our phone number to a non-pub which is a landline/home phone.

They calledand said they were from the Times Picayune, (our local newspaper) and were promoting a 3 month special offer.

The person called me at least 15 times in the last week and never left a message.   (to my cell phone)  And it was someone wanting to sell the Arizona Republic to my 5 year old.   I called the Pisa Group and they said they would take me off the list.

I just called the Pisa Group (314-961-6200)like others before me and told them that I am on the Do Not Call List.  They responded that they do outcalls on behalf of my local paper to which I subscribe.  I pointed out that I, like all the others before me on this website, do business with my local paper - NOT the Pisa Group - and Pisa's contacting me is a violation of the Do Not Call List rules (those you do business with are exempt).

I also pointed out that many people are very upset and have communicated through this site regarding their actions, and that further contact will result in further actions.

i got a call from them too. i am currently taking advantage of a free newspaper delivery trial subscription so i suppose it is from them. the reason why you people  receive calls is because you give out your nmber or dont pay your bills

I keep getting calls from this number, and I am already registered for the Cell Phone Do Not Call Registry and they still call.

These people keep calling my house. They say they are trying to sell the Times Picayune. (New Orleans newspaper). When I said I didn't want it they hung up. Now they just keep calling and hang up when I answer. I just updated my numbers on the do not call list, hopefully that will stop them.
