I have gotten several calls from this number and I have a new phone #!! Have had this # for only one week, have not even given it out to anyone yet, and this place is calling. Blocked the call on my Panasonic phone.

Why isn't there a "Do Not Bother Me, Period" list, because the Do No Call list has never worked and even when I report something nothing is done about it.  In Indiana we had our own list, so I was on both.  The calls still kept coming in.

The do not call list is good for five years.. It just does not work. The callers are associated to a civic group which lets them off the hook. Best bet if you cAN get rid of your landline.

Unfortunately i feel as though it is only a few number of ppl that see these comments wish their was a way to have more people see the comments that are on here cause these ppl calling could truly be and in some way most probly are scammers to a certain degree. I would not purchase anything through them. I believe they try to push newspaper subscriptions if i want a newspaper i will get one or call my local newspaper myself but generally newspaper subscriptions are way higher than just buying the paper from a store or news stand and believe me i have done telemarketing these places have ways of scamming money from you. My for sure advice would be to definitely not give them any payment information or any other real personal info best thing is just hang up on them.

Called just minutes ago and said that they were the Arizona. Republic campaign.  I immediately told them to take my number off of their list.

I'v getting several calls a week for the past few weeks, as late as 8:42  pm.  They never leave a message.    I would like someone to stop this intrusion into our lives.  Please help   It's a form of harrassment.  Mary Glen

How about fining these [***] for violating the Do Not Call rules??

I am getting several calls a day, seven days a week from this number. There is nobody on the other end.
In caller ID it just says "news".

Just call them back and listen to the prompts press 3 to be removed from their list press 1 to remove the number you called in on, and press 1 to say that you are sure you want your number removed completely from their directory.

It is a call center for newspapers. I have my phone on the NO CALL LIST. This is the second call from them. Reported to FCC TWICE.

They have called more than once AFTER I was told my number was removed from the call list...

Both of my phones are UNLISTED. I have never done business with the newspaper. These are COLD CALLS generated by an auto-dialer.

I got the same calls and I am a newspaper carrier.  My number is unlisted, and I get the automated dialer thing, but they knew my name.  I believe the paper I deliver for gave the info to them.  The problem is this: They don't care about the Do Not Call Registry because the fines are so low that it doesn't make a dent in their earnings.  You can choose to just not answer, but they will keep calling until you do.  And even after you tell them not to, they will continue.  It seems we have no recourse at all.

we have gotten two calls this week and four in the past month.  two supposedly were from our local paper and two were from a paper not too far away.  neither of which we are interested in.

called the local paper this morning and they said they would remove our name from the list.

also asked them with all the unemployment in the area - why in the world did they have to go out of state to have calls made?  no one locally wants work?

lady said she would remove our number - but she wasn't all that friendly.  and i was polite.

Many calls from this number, various times of day, never answered. I know one person, exactly one, that lives in St. Louis and I have their number. Just was checking against the list and surprised so many others have reported it.

I called 314-845-2825 (Pisa Group) and asked for my number to be removed.

I just started getting these calls and what I did was create a contact in my phone with their number and named the contact DO NOT ANSWER.  I then downloaded a special ringtone for this contact that says "DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE".  This way I just ignore them and they will give up in no time.  Just a suggestion.
