Has been reported to do not call list, for what good that does. Press nine & they figure out that you are complaining & they hang up. I asked if this was my final call & they answered yes & said make sure it is & they hung up. Very aggrevating when you have 2 lines & both are ringing at the same time.

They call me at least twice a week, and have been for a couple of months.  And I'm in Tennnessee too.  Apparently they're picking on us.

if you have charter, press *60 and put their number on your block list. Not sure how to block if you have other phone services. Sometimes the same individual use 3 to 4 different numbers so this technique is not a fix all. Hope this helps!

Rec'd these calls for months, Finally dialed 9 and told them to put me on don't call list. She said OK.

One week later, another call this morn at 10:41 and told them about the don't call request the previous week. This [***] reply?   "ARE YOU THREATENING ME?".  I replied yes, call again, I'll sue and I hung up.
Guess what. [***] called back at 10:45 am. 5 friggn minutes later. Told him the same. Was asked if I got his name (first caller) and of course I didn't. Besides, who's going to believe that is the real name of the person, not to mention how is that spelled???? LEARN TO SPEAK PROPER, UNDERSTANDABLE ENGLISH TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE if you want to talk to an American!
I told the guy that the first caller was a foreigner and I couldn't understand him. His reply: "I'm in India, so..." My reply: "So, I'm in America, so what? I still couldn't understand him".

I have filled a complaint with the Nat. Registry of Don't Call List, but big deal. As it says, they don't contact the people, they just let the legal dept of the gov. look into it. WHAT A JOKE.
I have this phone number with both dates and times of calls photographed and intend to continue to HARASS THEM AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. If I find a number for this group, or address, I will post it so that ALL OF US can turn the tables on them. SLAM THEM with phone calls telling them that we can lower their credit card rates!
Glad to find out the area code is Indiana, that's a little closer to TN than India is. Closer for me to get my hands around the first jerks throat.

I DON'T GET MAD, I GET EVEN! I will continue until I get satisfaction!

TN also, but I'm sure their calling everying phone # in the US

Like you, I keep getting these calls. I either punch the number to get "more information" tell them to hold and don't hang up untill the phone beeps or I just call them [***] etc. untill they hang up.
There is NO LAW which says that I must be polite or civil to someone who is inconvienceing me.

I got this call too, I live in TN as well. They did not leave a message either.

Some phone companies offer a *70 selective call blocking which allows you to set up a list of callers you no longer wish to hear from, and with many companies and bundled phone service, it doesnt cost extra. I work for one of them.
Just thought I would FYI that

I also live in Tenessee and just received a call from this number. I didn't answer but did *69 and saw the caller's number and did a Google search and came to this page. I also have Comcast phone. Thanks for the block instructions. I now have it blocked but I'm sure there will be more in the future.

well usually i write down the time and date but not this one it is the same jerks calling about lowering your credit card interest.  i have been on a no call list since 2004 for the state of tennessee. worked fine for quite a long time but started getting these in about 2009. don't you just love the phones that store 100's of phone numbers. i have at least 51 of these calls in mine.  several times i have kept them on the line and found out who there are and usually i am talking to some one from India. like to have scared the last one to death. oh well.

I called my senator's office (Allexander) from Tennessee) and complained about the fact that the Government "do not call" wasn't doing anything to stop the calls that had been reported.  The reply that I received from them was that senators could only pass legislation, they could not enforce it.  Let's all start calling our legislators and complaining about their failure to put teeth into their puny legislation.

Thank you all for giving me insight into this number. I currently have puppies for sale and never know when to pick up the phone for a buyer. When I read " unknown caller" and noticed no message was left, I still called back and heard a busy signal. It's likely to be robo-dialer, solicitor, bill collector, or someone unrelated to me goal of selling these pups.

The time has passed when we can directly answer our phone.  Adjust to the following methods to bring peace.
    1.  Invest in Caller ID
    2.  Invest in a decent voice mail messaging system; never answer your phone unless you recognize the number
    3.  Phone callers will be forced to leave a message; only return the calls that are important
    4.  Learn to ignore automated calls;  turn down or shut off your ringer
    5.  Never return a call (just like email); this will verify that the phone number is valid; automated dialers will just move to the next number in that exchange; remember the phone industry loves these people; they have large phone bills and several phone numbers.  Expect no help from them.
    6.  Don’t ignore your debt collectors; It’s your bill, so pay it; Work out a payment plan, if unsuccessful, obtain a court date and tell the judge what you can pay and be sure to pay it.
    7.  The business model followed by most telemarketers and debt collectors is to call repeatedly, in order to force you to return the call.  This not only validates the phone number but most callers are trained to gain valuable marketing & collection information by forcing you to talk, even though you are angry.  By the way, these validated phone numbers are also sold to other marketing companies. If it is a debt collector, what you say can be used in court.  Even though many are scams, many are not .. just an irritating business model.

Received this call at 12:12 p. m. on my home phone . . . it's always "Rachel" at Card Services, blah blah
I listened to the entire message so I could give someone a tongue-lashing and inform them I was on the Do Not Call List.  I doubt it will help . . . BUT, I will report them via the Do Not Call Registry anyway.
