This is a company that claims to "lower your interest rates."  Not sure what they actually do but I asked to be removed from their list.  They made me hold for 30 seconds while their system removed my number?  Odd.

I've received numerous calls from these people.  I actually pressed 9 today and spoke with a man who said he represented Visa, Discover, American Express from Citibank, Bank of America, and "all of them," and wanted to talk about lowering my interest rate.  He asked which card I had and what my balances were.
Called the FTC and reported it.

I just got a call from this company and spoke to a representative about lowering my credit card rate. He said he worked for experian. "yeah right".  Then he asked for me to verify my credit card number. NOT. I said if you have my information, I don't need to verify. He was getting irritated. I said that I don't give that information over the phone. And then I hear more "bla bla bla" and I hung up on him. Ironically, I'm in west TN. Seems like they are targeting TN residents. Caller beware.

The first time they called I hung up. When they called again two weeks later I pressed the number to get a live person. When I was connected with that person he asked me for my credit card number. He told me he could lower my interest rate. I said "if you don't have my credit card # how could you know what my interest rate is?" I told him I was going to report his annoying call to the Do Not Call Registry and he said "so what" and hung up.

Well evidently these people have been targeting people in Tennessee,I want to find out who is behind this!

I have reported this number to the FCC, which filed a complaint on my behalf.  I urge everyone to do this.  It costs nothing and takes about six minutes (the number is contained in a message on this site--page 2, I believe).  When I called this company (or whatever it is) back yesterday to ask them to remove my number from their records, the man who answered yelled nearly every four-letter word you can think of at me.  I've never had any experience like this--ever.  Just explosive obscenity.  Something awful is going on at this number.  Please report it.  These cretins have to be stopped--now.

I live in Franklin, Tennessee and I also have received these calls from 317-559-4012. The way to get rid of them is tell you do not have a credit card. They will hang up never to call you again. If not turn them over to the goverment which have wrote the don't call list. If they pass a law they have to enforce that law. Good luck out there. Have they targeted Tennessee only?

I just received a call also and also live in TN, The problem with this call was they started to get very rude and vulgar. Using the "F" word and other stuff. Asked for a supervisor and got the same treatment. Hung up.

Unwanted caller.

Got this call at 6:37 pm on January 28th.  Didn't answer when Caller ID displayed it as an Unknown Name. Glad I didn't after reading all the rude calls that have been made from it.  I live in Germantown, TN.

I am in Martin, TN...so it looks like they started in East TN and moved westward.  I never answer UNKNOWN CALLER numbers.  I have a feeling there is little that can be done.

The callers aren't looking here so I doubt there will see your message.  But I sure don't blame you.  I am tired of them calling too.

Just got another call from these people and I also live in Tennessee.  The caller ID shows the call came from Indianapolis, IN, but the little guy that came on the line when I pressed "9" definitely was not from Indiana or the United States for that matter.  I could hear lots of other people talking and I could only imagine a "boiler room" type set up in Pakastan or somewhere like that.

I told him that I did not have credit card debt, so I pressed 9 to see what account they were talking about.  He started naming off all the cards he could get me for a lower rate.  Told him I had no interest in getting a credit card.  He asked me two times if I had credit card debt and I told him no.  He then said he would removed my number and place it on the "Do Not Call List".  Yeah, right!

I live in TN and have received calls from 317-559-4012, too.  I don't remember how long ago I began to receive them.  They stopped calling me...for a while.  Now, they are calling me again.  After I had orginally received several calls, I finally pressed "9" to tell them to stop calling me.  I told them I was on the "Do Not Call List."  I can't remember exactly what the girl told me, but it was some kind of smart aleck answer.  Now that the calls have begun again, I am trying something new.  I go ahead, when prompted, and press "9."  Then...I blow a whistle into the phone AS LOUD as I can and then hang up.  I'm going to follow some of the tips I've read here such as try to block the call and report the number to the Federal Communications Commission and anything else I can think of doing.  We can only hope these idiots are located in....CAIRO, EGYPT!!!

just got a call from this number did not answer googled it and this site showed up so looks like I am not the only one getting bothered by this number. Yes caller id is a wonderful thing.
