National Car Warranty, recorded message saying that my car's warranty is about to expire but doesnt specify for what kind of car I have and who it is, I know my warranty is not expired. It then gives me an option to talk to someone, or an option for the message not to call anymore, both are push button activations. If you push either, it disconnects the call.

I used to receive phone calls from 352-357-4151 that my car warranty is about to expire.  I believe they have changed numbers to this now.  The only thing that comes up on my phone is the number and I cannot find anything on reverse look up to match it.  When I call it back it says the number is no longer in service.  I actually spoke to a person yesterday when they called.  I told her that I wanted no more phone calls from them and she swears she has taken my "CELL" phone off their list.  I get calls to my home number also and to fix that I was switched to the DO NOT CALL number.  All my numbers ARE on the DO NOT CALL list and it is not helping.  This is so annoying.

It is annoying.  This was a call and then a hang up. It hung up on me before I answered.  Too bad we can't route these calls to a 900 number!  Than they'd have to pay for the call too!!!!  Oh Well...

Same story for me - my name is on the DNC list.  How can I ensure these people are fined?!

These people called me about a car warranty, too. I just fed up with them, they didn't seem like they would shut up, so I just hung up on them.

We've been getting these messages several times a week for the weeks, to our home phone and to our cell phone.  I am also on the do not call list.

When I pressed the number to speak to someone to extend the warranty, just to find out who they were, I got a real person and asked what company it was, and they just hung up.

How can I stop these irritating calls?

What do you think about putting them on speakerphone and just letting them talk. I've done this with telemarketers once or twice when I felt like having some fun.
   I let them make the pitch while I'm doing whatever I want and when they get to the question I just say 'No thank's'. If they want to talk some more I'll let them and I just wait for the chance to say 'No thank's'. You can play with them all you want on their nickel. You can pretend you're interested or ask them about the weather where they're at and make small talk. The more of their time you waste the less time they have to bother someone else. It's a great payback!

ive been getting calls also for a car warranty. they have changed numbers. the best remedy for these types of calls is to go to the federal trade commisson's website and file a complaint there. i used to get calls from a bill collection agency, and had told them repeatedly the person they are looking for isnt me. they just kept calling. when i filed my complaint on the ftc's website it ended. has anyone had their oil changed at one of the quick change places? i am beginning to think they have given my phone number out to these people since it started shortly after that.

I've gotten 3-4 of these calls over the past month, but I noticed they started calling as soon as I got my driver's license (which was much later than most people get it).  I don't even own a car yet, but they somehow knew when I got a license.

This call is the usual and customary vehicle warranty extension
call which is seemingly unending in tenacity.Attempts to opt out by leaving a "DO NOT CALL" message only automatically enrolls you in many more such
telephonic attacks.

This is a very real scam.  They also called me from 757-990-8950.
Its from Temprenceville VA.  I called the Temprenceville Police
and reported them.  They said to call my local Police Dep and file a
report.  Then they would start working on it.  The man at National Warente said for only $2489 he could insure my car for 5 years.
He said he does not have a web page, I told him I would call him back,
and he gave me a bogus name and phone number.  They call me 2-3 times per day.  We should hang these crooks ASAP..  I feel bad for all the people thay have scammed.

I just received a call from this number this afternoon and I now I realize that it's a telemarketer...glad I saw this site.

I have just started getting these calls the past few weeks.  First time I hit '1' to find out who they were and when an operator picked up, I could hardly understand what they said.  I said "excuse me?" and they hung up.  

Today they called again, I hit '1', and spoke to an operator.  
Op: "Are you interested in extending your warranty?"  
Me: "I'm interested in finding out how you got this phone number."
Op: "We get our phone numbers from a number of difference sources.  Are you interested in extending your warranty?"
Me: "I'm still interested in finding out how you got MY phone number."
Op: "Hold on for a moment while I transfer you to get that information."
- I get transfered to a recorded message about the national Do Not Call list, which I'm already on.

I googled the number and found this site.  Anyone know how to get these jerks to quit calling?  Cocoa FL Police?  Florida BBB?

I got several calls from this number. Funny thing is I dont even have any warranty on my car. Since I use VoIP phone, I just blocked this number myself.
