Recording said auto warranty was going to expire, and that they have sent several notices. Got through to a man and questioned him on the name of his company, and the origin of his information.  He said, "the warranty co." and he got the info from his computer!  I asked which vehicle this was in reference to, and his reply was "how many vehicles do you have?"  To which I responded, "You are the one with the info, tell me which vehicle this regarding...."  He was irritated, and finished our conversation with, "you obviously don't need a warranty, and I don't have time for all of your questions!"
Then he hung up on me.  Definitely a scam!!

They call 2-3 times per week.  Everytime, I let the machine pick it up.  Either no message is left or my car warrenty is expiring, or my credit accounts are being compromised!  My car is a 1988 model, and we don't use credit cards!  I reported them to DNC, but nothing has happened.

Got the call today from 321-504-7429 showing up as "Cocoa, Fl".  I hit "one for a rep" and some country accent paluka answers the phone asking for yr, make, model of my car/truck. I ask for the company name and he hangs up.

The call states that my car warranty is about to expire. Very annoying

Just received an automated call regarding my car warranty has expired. There was a choice at the end to talk to someone or hang up. When I chose talk to someone it hung up. This clearly violates the rules of robo calling in my state. I have been on the do not call list for years. I do not have a warranty so these people do not know anything about your car or its warranty. If I had a loud airhorn I would have used it if a "person" came on for waking me up at 8:30 AM to spam my do-not-call number.

I was just called today on my home phone which is also on the do not call list.  I just asked what warranty they were talking about and they hung up on me after first asking what my make and model of vehicle was.  I wish I had clued in a second earlier and had given them bogus information so when they asked me for my credit card info I could have told them where to go and how to get there...this means of solicitation really boils my blood!!

Reported "National Car Warranty" to Federal Trade Commission web site. See if it does any good. Everyone should file complaint when you get a call from any telemarketer!

This is some type of car warrantee company--I do not even own a car!

I just got a call from this number and also got the recorded message that my auto warranty is about to expire.  I just bought my house a little over 2 months ago and I have only had my phone number for that long and I put it on the DNC list the very day I got this phone # to prevent these types of calls.  Very annoying, especially since I work from home and they interrupt me when they call!

Received this call today and I told him that I was on the DNC list and he could not call me.  He said something nasty and hung up on me.  I have reported him, but the DNC list is turning out to be a joke.  I get calls almost daily from these people and Heather for a better interest rate on credit cards.  I searched and found that Heather will charge $599 to $799 to lower your interest rate, but doesn't really.  It is a scam they should be in jail.

How d I stop these people? I asked to speak to someone and thell them I do not own a car and they hang up on me!!!!

I am reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission also (good tip).

Googling National Auto Warranty gives a web page that says it's temporarily down, and gives a phone number (877-787-3959).

First, this is NOT a scam. It is however a ripoff. The company *represented* is Royal Administration, a sub of Hanover Insurance. Web site http://www.royaladmin.com  I talked to this company and they do NOT sell warranties, they provide them for companies to sell, ie a used car dealer or this dirtbag in Florida calling against the DNC. The person I spoke to was interested and a little miffed that someone was representing them and making cold calls against the DNC. So the company and auto warranty are legitimate, it's the seller who is operating outside the law. Possibly more on this later.

Second, this is a rip off as I was quoted $3005 for a warranty to extend to 2013/100K miles with a $100 deductible. I can get from my dealer the best bumper to bumper extension of the factory Nissan warranty they offer 8 years 100K miles and a $50 deductible for $1685. When I spoke to Royal she told me no one there had any way of telling me of $3K was high or not, ie is the seller making too much profit. Either way it's close to double the price of the factory equivalent. I will update if I get info on the actual seller.

The number rings as out of order and the call is against two do not call lists.

got a call from this #, saying my insurance had expired, disconnected whe pushed button. *69'd and got their #. called back, and got a "number disconnected or no longer in service" signal

Same automated call multiple times. Received another today. National Auto Warranty.  Florida number.  this has been going on for months - they change the number every once in a while.  Wish we could track them.  Yes I always report to the donotcall.org site
