Excuse you? You are telling me how much my check was worth? If you would have CAREFULLY read the statement I mentioned that there is a new pay plan in affect, so you have no clue how much we are getting paid. And I was making just as much, if not more money than the account managers.  It is a tiered system, and if you book more than eighty trains in a week you get a $400 bonus.  I would book between 60-80 trains every week, work 15 hours of overtime, and then there is the flat rate.  Do the math honey-- 400+157+280.  That equals $837.  It looks like with those "upper management" skills that you could do simple math and/or learn to be civil.  But considering how upper management probably entails you finished a year at Alamance community college, I guess it is a forgivable mistake.

FYI, I am a college student presently @ ECU and the job at dealerstaff was my summer job also.  Believe me I did the math and that would be 7<flat rate> x 55<hours> = $385.  Your bonus is bookings of interviews which is 2 dollar for each that show up.  If you possibly did 70 that would be a extra $140, and that comes to a total of $525, then you would have taxes taken out.... So I find it hard to believe they would pay that much money to just the call center and have such a small company, with a small building, with crappy computers....

If you worked at DealerSTAFF you would know that things change every day.  As an incentive to book more trains, they made a tiered pay plan.  0-30 trains, no bonus; 30-40 trains, $1 bonus; 40-50 trains $2 bonus; 50-60 trains, $3 bonus; 60-80 trains, $4 bonus; 80-100 trains $5 bonus; if you book 100+, then you get a $6 bonus per person.  I'm sorry you find it hard to believe, and I'm not trying to be "almighty" at all, I am just trying to be factual.

flossy- former employee replies to Concerned Patron of Truth
Good for you!!! Someone needs to shut them down!! They are liars and use their faith to judge and belittle you. Rob is a racist. I used to work for them earlier this year and it was not enjoyable. I to like the other people that have posted wondered why when we would have training on Tues and Wed, why we were not allowed to talk to the people in the training classes. Now I know why. I hope you called every media outlet availabe to you!! Good Luck

If I were you I would seek employment elsewhere... Speaking from someone who was employed there this past May. The car sales positions are 90 day trial periods were the dealerships will decide to hire you or let you go. You are better off applying directly to a dealership.

Casey works in the call center. The reason she didn't leave you any information was because the more info she leaves you the better the chances you have to say to yourself " I'm not interested" thats not what they want you to do. Dealerstaff wants you to either come in their office or go to a hotel or an office space they have rented to hold interviews. If she schedules you for an interview and you show up she gets a credit. Depending on where you live the locations are Residence Inns or rented suite spaces. If you are looking at the entry level HR postions they thats how they get you to come in but really they are hiring for there call center which pays 7 bucks an hour plus comm.

Again, they don't do it like that anymore.  The training is all online now, for numerous reasons, so ya don't have to go to a motel or office space, you just watch it online--its just a video of one of the training sessions from the past.

Still Hot and You're Not replies to worked there too...
I attended high school with "Rob", and laughed extremely hard when I saw his video clips on the DealerSTAFF web site. He has gained a lot of weight, and his receding hairline makes him resemble a two-bit car salesman (which is fitting). I can validate that all his family members were highly intelligent, but ultimately he and his siblings inherited his fat mom's crazy genetics. Time hasn't been kind to him.

How can you defend a company so strongly that you've only worked at for maybe four months? Dearest Aaron, you didn't work at DealerSTAFF before the online training. You had no idea what the applicants had to go thru, paying $35 for a [***] manual that wasn't worth $0.35 literally! Since you think DealerSTAFF is so great, why'd you quit? DealerSTAFF may seem like a dream job while you have it, but once you've worked there long enough and/or taken a step away from it you'll realize how it works. Don't you find it funny you get paid COMISSION on people? Getting paid comission on CARS is one thing, but it's a completely different thing with people. It's the most impersonal practice, none of the employees of DealerSTAFF give two [***] about if the person gets a job or not! It's about the money that they can earn off of that person. Would you like to be treated that way? Being unemployed is hard enough, then you get somebody trying to sell you a job only for their benefit. The goal of this message isn't to shut DealerSTAFF down, it's to raise awareness of a scam. I think all people should know this. Word of mouth is best, and none of DealerSTAFF's ex employees have a good review of that job. Most people would like to forget they ever worked there!

Rob since you won't post your name on here, i just thought i would let you know when you put your hands on a female employee or when you scream in there faces or when you act a fool then someone is bound to notice. I promise you that you will get what is coming to you. It's only a matter of time until the cops get involved and it's only a matter of time until someone comes to your scam of a job and is undercover. mark my words your days of scaming people and hurting people is coming to an end. your friend.

I have just been contacted by dealerstaff, I have also read the postings on this site as well as the information on their web site.  Their web site does identify them as a sales person placement agency, not a dealership.  Based on this, it sees that they are not misrepresenting who they are.  I have passed my initial phone interview and have been scheduled for training.  The training is 8 one hour online modules, free of charge.  So the complaints posted from 2006 seem to no longer be valid as I will not be charged for my training or materials.  I am hard pressed to see how this is a "scam" as the company is gaining no benefit from me unless I am placed in a sales job.  They are not collecting any money or personal information from me.  Their web site indicates they make their money on a kickback from the dealership based on the number of cars I sell in my 1st 90 days.  I'll keep my eyes wide open during this process, but so far everything seems legit.

screwd?? replies to sara and john
I came across dealerSTAFF through a job posting site, made contact via e-mail and told that me resume was beeing reviewd by the hiring manager. no red alarms, I have landed jobs this way before,  I then recive a call saying that I was hired and they would put me through an on-line course free of charge, and that they had over 300 dealerships they could place me at,  at this point it all seams resonable,  I mean I have never workerdfor an employeer that charged me  for training, and cars sales, even after the class I was more convinced, is easy enough a monkey could do it. also for the amount of dealerships, slight possability seeing as I live in Texa and near a metroplex, there are a few dealerships that have locations all over the state and cover several brands, so all in all I assumed it was a local company. the training was from DealerSTAFF, okay so maybe the dealership out sources its training, not uncommon, but as I went through the training , red lights start flashing,  completed the training a few days early,  sirens screamed when I contacted for my dealership assighnment and was told they were waiting to hear back from a dealer in my area and would call me back. wish would have researched first, but I am hard up for a job.

Thank you so much.  I appreciate you sharing your experience.  Please tell me if you believe that edealerstaff, who I am now in contact with is the same organization. I learned about them on careerbuilder.com.  They were under sales positions.

I could not be too comfortable with the fact that they are so willing to work with someone with no car sales background at all.  I thought that this fact seemed odd.  They are now offering seven or so hours of "internet training" that they download to your email.

My name is Alex.  My email is icvdaniel@att.net.  My phone number is 615-342-9270.

Angry Man replies to Think Before Acting
You are in error and demonstrate a serious lack of substance.  You should be made ashamed but I douby you are.  How sad you sit up here justify sin and corruption.  There is no excuse for lying and cheating your fellowman anytime, anyplace.  We are not in 7th grade so this "everybody is doin it" crap won't float.  I have more respect for the man who sleeps at the local Rescue Mission or sleeps on the park bench than I do for people such as you and the accused or anyone who knowingly and willingly deceives innocent people.  You and all who think as you must have been raised by buzzards based on your lack of a spiritual foundation.  You speak as a man who has no blood and no soul.

This is a nation of laws and not a cess pool of turd world style ethics.  Ignorance of God's law is no excuse ..ever.  I don't care how impoverished your region may be.  Thous shalt steal or bear false witness. I challenge you.  If they (the owners) do not know that what they are doing is wrong, then why do they not know?  What reasonable excuse could they offer?  I'm illiterate? I'm just a kid?  The devil made me do it?  Or perhaps I'm just a greedy, selfish snake who bites anybody who crosses his path?  Let's clear the air.  What they are is deceptive and fraudulent.  Both knowingly and willingly on purpose.

Finally, yes we should do exactly what we are doing on this site.  Expose all deception and fraud.  Let the light of Jesus shine on all devils who claim to belong to him and duck and hide behind his good name while they commit fraud.  They are wasting off people's valueble time and sometimes money.  IT IS WRONG!! They are taking advantage of real people like me who are unemployed and are trying to make a decent and honest living. Jesus asked the question "what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?  What is yours worth?
