Thanks for all the info on this number..getting very tired of these calls!!!

Asked to be put on do not call list.  
She IMMEDIATELY hung up.

I had a similar experience to Tess. hey called before & when I pressed 9 I told her I know it was bs & to take my name off the list & she hung up on me. They called again a minute ago only the ph # came up on the id. Again I pressed 9 & got a guy that asked which offer I was responding to, was it the lower interest rate. I said yes. Then he said I was offered this b/c of my excellent credit & payment history. Interesting b/c  I don't use credit cards at ALL! When I asked him the nname of the company & said I didn't catch it on the recording he said it was Cardholder Services - Qualifications for Visa & Mastercard. I said didn't realize that was the company name I thought Cardholder services was a dept like Customer service. By now I can hear annoyance in his voice. He asked if I had over $5K in credit card debt. When I said no he said then we can't help you & said he would take my name off the list.

I am on the Do-Not-Call list yet I received a call from this number. I just don't answer any out of country or international calls.

Answered and it said hello and congratulations.  I hung up only a wast of time.

this number keeps calling my work number and my home phone number. they are not a debt collector, because i have no debt with anyone.  they will not leave a message. they are calling twice a day on both phone numbers. i call the number back and BUSY SIGNAL..

What good is the DNC list if all these companies just ignore & continue to harass with unwanted calls.

Don't bother with the FTC.  They are a scam organization.  File a complaint with the FCC instead -- they WILL do something about it.  (( http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm ))

Picked up this call and was greeted with a recording from "Cardholder Services."  I've gotten this call many times before from different numbers.  Pressed 9 to speak to a representative so I could ask to be removed from their list, as I always do, but in the past the call never goes through.  This time it was picked up by an agent ... "THIS IS LEAH."  She hung up on me as soon as I asked her to remove my name from the calling list.

They just called my office number. Did not pick up. I filled out a couple of contest online that I was interested in the past week and I wonder if those companies sold my number to those telemarketers or whatever they are?!?

Called my business line. I am not even in the US - I am in Canada. No voicemail left.

Just got a call today from this number. It showed up as "Wireless Caller" but no other information. The answering machine picked up; someone started to talk then hung up. Did a Google search and came across various information stating that this is a credit scam...trying to lower your interest rate on credit cards. We are on the Do Not Call Registry...I guess it doesn't apply to them. :-P I don't let this aggrevate me for they can talk to my answering machine all they want...as long as I don't have to deal with them let my machine waste their time.

If your phone has a save option, save the number and then program a special ring.  I chose to call this caller ID "Ignore" or "Spam", then the special ring is SILENT, so when they call, I never even hear it.  I do this with every spammer and when I don't recognize the ID, I never answer.  Anyone who really wants to reach me will leave a message or unblock their ID.  FCC and Do Not Call are fronts for politicians relatives who need fake jobs.  Total rubbish

unsolicited call from this number...have no idea WHY they are calling

I'm amazed that you guys believe that anyone will do anything.  I've been called by these same people for 3 years, with different numbers, locations, but always the same deal - cardholder services, press 9, etc. And they ask you right away for your credit card info., even though they are calling about your credit card.  I've told them many times that I'm on the Do Not Call Registry and to not call me, and they've laughed, yelled F*** You and hung up, etc.  I've reported them to the FCC twice with all the appropriate forms, even received confirming forms in the mail, also to the registry, and probably others as well, and they called me yesterday and today also.  I don't believe that anyone will ever do anything about this at all.

Our government doesn't work for us anymore. FDA, FCC, FTC? You can go on and on. It's all about the money. We are walking dollar bills that they spend anyway they want. For instance, in the wake of the nuclear disaster in Japan, our own EPA is RAISING the safe level of radiation. Does that sound like they care about us?????
PS Vote out ALL politicians. Wake up and make a change. Is your life better today or worse. Vote them ALL out til it's better.

Be carefull with this call, when I pressed 9 to talk to a agent they offered me lower rates on my credit card.  I asked them which one and they replied my Visa or Mastercard.  Again I asked them which one I have about 10 of them and they hung up.  I believe they are trying to get your information from you, DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM.  This call shows up as a wireless caller.

Install the Mr. Number app on Blackberry and Android devices.  I'm not sure if it works on iPhones, but surley they have something similar.  You can block all of these people.  Obviously the Do Not Call registry isn't all that affective, so this app has become a good friend to me.
