Got the same thing, except at our CHURCH OFFICE!  After three or four calls, getting hung up on, then them calling back, ended up with the same scam, exactly the same amount, same yellow page stuff.  Once I got them to shut up and I announced that they were speaking with a religious organization they dropped me like a bad habit...actually put me on hold again, then the call eventually went to dial tone, never to return.  
Beware.  NEVER give away your info to someone you don't know.  Just hang up, they'll eventually go away.

They just call and hang up and you can't dial them back. They wait until you answer - you can hear them hang up.

Get calls from this number once or twice a week, no one says anything...

Someone from the above telephone number calls several times a day.  Their calls are aggravating and causing a problem for my business.

This number has been one of two we get 2 to 3 times a day daily starting at 8:30am.

I always answer using our business name because that will usually stop telemarketers from continuing on - why that's different from a simple "hello" I have no ideas.

We don't even have a yellow pages ad -- to expensive and not worth the money so I don't know why they're calling

They called me today with the same scam. I called YellowPages.com and the woman confirmed that I didn't have an account there.

Total scam.

I can confirm this: an automated "hello" recording after you speak a couple times. They then hung up. Waste of my time.

Got a call this evening on the yellow book scam as well. Except for this time the so called charge is $599
I was transferred like most everyone else, I said I do not owe $599 nor did I sign up for anything in writing for a yellow book advertising service, they immediately hung up. I then received two more calls from 13474180489..did not answer..A couple of more calls, and I will be taking it the full route of filing for harassment.  I do own a small business, and oddly enough did just get my number in yellow book last year.. thanks to everyone that posted

It was a computer polled call.  When I said hello, a man said, "Is the CEC Services" [my business], and I said, "Who's calling".  He hung up.  Repeated calls back to them cause Verizon to say "circuits are busy".

this number calls my automotive shop atleast twice a day i want it to stop !! and they say nothing

Received a call from "Jerome" wanting to confirm the cancellation of my $599. yellowpage.com account.  I stated that I have a rep. who comes to my office.  Since he asked for the "Owner, " I asked for his supervisor and the name of his company.  He kept saying he was with the yellow pages.  Just to be sure I called Yellow Pages rep...this was bogus!  So relieved to be able to check this number out at your site.

Claimed to be att yellow pages and wanted to talk to me about the cancellation fees, i just told him that we never canceled it, he was trying to say we did.

I sensed the smell of scam, and in a very polite way, told him to go F his camel and i hung up.

Received the same call from on-line yellow pages with the same story that we signed up for the 1st year free and we owe $500 to cancel for the second year --- I asked for their names (foreigners) and the callers name was Mark Johnson and the supervisors name was Jay Anderson --- ya right. They said they had no phone number or address they could give me but that the cancellation department could give me that. I spoke to the cancellation dept and once I told her that I had no account to cancel she hung up.
Who can we contact to get these guys arrested --- please respond with a phone number or reporting email. Thank you!

You are right! I have had a call blocking panasonic phone for years. It's wonderful! Go buy one!

So how long will this go on until it stops?  I've counted 11 calls in two days so far.

happened again. i played along for a second or two. woman with a heavy accent and a very American name said "the owner must have been to busy to tell you that yellow pages have been canceled."

then i informed her that i was the owner and... click.

A telephone call from 347-418-0489 is made to my cell phone EVERY WEEK DAY..... with a foreign-speaking person on the other end.  I can never understand them so I ask them to remove my business name from their list.  I still receive a daily call and I promptly hang up.  We need to resolution to this unwanted call.

This company keep calling here and they are harrassing our office. They don't have our infomation and they are talking about renewing or cancelling a service that we don't have with anyone!

Got the same call twice. Tried to tell me they needed my address to send cancelation notice for yellow pages ad. I told them they can't cancel anything because there was no subscription. They said they had the documentation, and I said fine, send me the documents. H e wanted my address, and i said if you had my documents, then you have my address. He hung up!

After receiving repeated calls frm 347-418-0489 over the course of several months, I BLEW A VERY LOUD WHISTLE INTO THE RECEIVER as soon as I answered the call ten days ago and I have not been bothered since.
