asked for me by name. Wanted to know if I made certain transactions. Knew the amount and place. I only let them ask 2 and I told them I would call my bank in the morning and hanged up. Seems fishy to me.

I have been receiving calls from this number since April and Tuesday they called left an electronic voice message saying "this is." Then it went blank, they also called my work number no message there.  I called back and it picked up went silent.  I hung up then this morning my bank account was gone.  I believe it to be a scam.

This is STILL a number used by credit card fraud divisions, I happen to have a VISA card that was used on the web. I highly suggest answering this call or calling back the number they leave on your voicemail. They locked the card until I spoke with them.

This number called me 4 times between 9:30 am and 7:00 pm. They did not leave a message and all it said on cid was Nebraska. This is not how legitimate companies work. Reading the comments and shaking my head, they give you the information they have to get you to give them what they don't have and discover real fraudulent charges because they just defrauded you! Don't call them back, check with your bank instead.

Received called from this number about activity on my debit card. They left a message with a number (1800-622-2361) to call back. I did not call said number but did call my bank instead. My bank did verify they wanted to check about recent activity on my card.

Fraud Alerts only "alert" you if fraud is suspected, they don't get involved beyond the alert notifications. There would be no need for a "bank card issuer" to mediate on your behalf, since you should contact your Bank direct and straighten out anything yourself, if in fact there is anything to straighten out with your account.

Have you noticed, my friend, that there is always an increase in posts from people "validating" these numbers late on Fridays & during the weekends? It never fails. Shills show up when they think people are busy & the legit. numbers to their banks and card providers will be tied up.
Wise people will know to be patient. Only Scammers need immediate results, especially on weekends. The Bank will be open on Monday & their cards are going to be working just fine 'til then anyway.
     Have a great weekend!

Yep and the sad part is nearly everyone can simply go to their Bank's website, login or signup into their account and check all weekend even when the Bank is closed. Last time I needed to contact my bank over a fraud alert was 3 years ago when I took out a cashiers check for $3,000 to pay a contractor and had to go to the Bank because it was over a limit specified in the fraud protection plan. The fraud alert even specified to contact the bank and never gave any "alternative" number to call.

Have a great week end too. :)

Got a call from this number at 7am on my cell phone. The only people to have this number is my maternal aunt, work and my (and my elderly mother's) doctor's office (in case of emergencies). I have never given it out to anyone else. So I knew this was a scam call. They left me a voice message that said they were calling for someone else. This is an ongoing problem since I got this number of getting calls from scammers.
