Called and left no voicemail. Tried to call it back and immediately receive message that this is a non working number. I filed this one as a scam and blocked the number. I do not believe this to be a legit credit company call as noted in the above comment because they always leave a message.

I had used a debit card for a transaction online that was denied, unusual because I had over $4500 to cover a $9 transaction. They did call and state that they were my bank, but the area code is unusual, they knew the amount of the transaction and where I tried to buy from, but still skeptical. Moving funds out of that account for now.

Called, static, and then hung up. Not sure what credit company does this but doesn't seem legit. My card has been declined for an unknown reason today when I know I have the funds, but I will be calling my bank for more information if needed.

The person called me twice. First time at 4pm and second time at 8pm to verify account activity. I knew this person is a scam because no bank works overtime for this. I pray this person will get the worst punishment in this life and the next life for trying to make a living off scaming people. Every attempt to scam people they make will be a huge drop of burning hot coal into their mouth in hell fire so Watch out.

I just received a call claiming to be from my bank, about a suspicious transaction.  They got my name right, but the caller ID said Walmart, so I'm suspicious.  I’ve asked my bank to verify.

static/ noise when answered. Message Unable to complete call as dialed, please dial 611 or call  1800-331-0500 (AT&T customer service)

Just had a call from bank this morning about debit card fraud, so I'm guessing this number has something to do with that. Maybe just using a copied message from AT&T to cover their tracks?

To my surprise, this turned out to be a legitimate call from one of my bank's robots.  After I questioned it via the bank's messaging system, a non-robot called from a different (and not obviously faked) number.

Number is legit. I called my bank and they confirmed that they called. They wanted to confirm fraudulent activity on my account.

This is legitimate. My bank was verifying recent charges. They will leave a voice message with a toll free number to call--do not call the number that appears on the caller ID.

Do NOT call the toll free number they give you, call the number on the back of your card or call your bank directly. Do NOT call any number they call from or give you.

    1) received robo-message on cell 2) Actual call back from person (x2) representing the fraud division of my credit union
later that day who informed me of certain debit card transactions for recent days and a suspicious transaction for $100 at a gas station out of state (Nashville.) I was told to call my credit union ASAP.  3) called credit union and the suspicious transaction was confirmed and credit card was immediately shut down.  Paperwork is already on the way to rectify the false charge and to be reimbursed. 4) This appears to be legitimate and who-ever stole this number and used it in Nashville needs to change their ways since if they do not they will be judged fairly by One who will judge fairly and perfectly.
    5) What had me a bit worried is when I tried to call the 402# back....I got a dropped call and nothing even after multiple
times trying...I thought for sure it was a scam, but immediately calling my credit union confirmed the thievery.

Thank you for posting this.  I got two calls in two days from this number, both times they left a garbled robo message.  The second time I was able to make out the 1-800 number referenced in the message.  I googled it online and found your note and called them back.  My debit card had been scammed.  THANK YOU!

To add to this, the phone number I was instructed to call, referred me to my bank to have my card deactivated, they also knew of all the charges on the account.
