When was the charge made?   When did u tell Paypal about teh fraudulent charge?   Supposedly takes them 10 business days to investigate, then u get the credit.

I just had the same exact fraudulent charge show up on 7/31.  it even had the same exact reference number.  still waiting on wells fargo to do something about it

i just answered the call and a woman was looking for my mother and said she was from 'kpals' or something.. what does the phone number have to do with paypal exactly.

To Everyone out ther who got a call from 402-935-7733: I was looking for Larimar rings on the internet. I found a website called jewelryandmore.us. I found a ring I liked and sent them the money from my paypal. Paypal showed a weird name that the money was given to.

When my ring did not arrive I wrote an e-mail asking if I had ben scamed. This is what they wrote back: Rafi Marc Alon is the owner of jewelryandmore.us .
There is no scam behind this purchase.

I got my ring by registered mail within a few days out of Boca Ratan Florida. I felt a little safer so I ordered another ring. Haven't seen it yet after almost a month and they have stopped answering my e-mails. This phone number was on my credit card statement PayPal took the money from. So now I will try to pin PayPal down. Just wanted everyone to know my experience with that phone number.

I gues there's some fraud going on in some cases, but this IS a paypal number.  I found a transaction I couldn't identify, but figured out it was paypal using my associated debit card to pay for a payment I was making to someone which was more than my paypal balance.   So, transaction shows up like this "Debit Card withdrawal: PAYPAL 402-935-7733 CA".

I had a call from this number but couldn't figure out what the $100 charge was.  Googled and based on the comments in this blog it occurred to me my husband made a donation to a charity.

I had a chare show up on my credit card for $25.  I was ready to call my credit card and PayPal.  Then I realized that I paid an organization for an event and they were using PayPal.  That's why the charges show up as beng paid to PayPal and not to the organization.

just used paypal to make an online purchase and recieved an call within 20 minutes from this number.  did not answer it and they did not leave a message

Same thing just happened to me. My bank picked up on it and notified me.  They noticed 5 paypal charges (4029357733) processed on my ATM cc in late August, all on the same day, adding up to $400.  (I do not even have a paypal account.) Two days later another charge for $67. Then several $1.00 charges.

Once my bank saw the $1.00 charges they immediately cancelled my cc and called me to tell me what was going on.  We went through the charges in question and are now in the process of trying to recup $470 dollars.  It's a mess.

I just looked up my visa account and have a number of charges on from this paypal number.

I have just received my Visa bill that contains a charge for Paypal "WirelessEmp" 402-935-7733 CA. This is apparently a paypal account.  I did not authorize this

This number appeared on my bank statement, and in a moment of absentmindedness I forgot that I had used Paypal a few hours prior and got pretty pissed off pretty quickly. I use Paypal all the time, and this is one of their legitimate numbers. I've had some fraud experiences in the past with Paypal, but they're always good about thoroughly investigating and make full refunds when necessary. Paypal is good people.

PAYPAL 4029357733 CACA charged 1.50 to my credit card, then I got an attempted charge from PAYPAL *VEOSMXAG824 4029357733 CACA for 193.92!!!! Who the heck do I call about that besides my Credit Card Co!?!?!?

Received a call from this number 30 mins after paying for something via PayPal missed the call . Found this website got scared and rang PayPal customer service explained what happened gave receipt number and they confirmed it was a genuine call from their security/ fraud unit wanting to confirm transaction so all good

My Chase Visa Card was hacked via a Lincoln Square, Chicago purchase for $150.  Beware of PayPal.

Some time business like me we charge 1 dollar to make sure the card number we have received is good one ,

or if some one decide to take 1 dollar from 1 million client and really received a million just by charging 1 dollar from different person .Now at the end of the day person receive  1000000 most people do not bother asking question just for one dollar and at the end of the day the thief walk way with million dollar .

First of all either you have a paypal account or not if the merchant use paypal to do all their online transaction on you statement it will show as paypal.name of the business who charged on your card .

for an example all my client will see on their statement as paypal.sameday express than our phone number .


Most people think that if they do not have a paypal meaning they should not have any transaction from paypal at all .

Myself and several others were scammed but a group on E-Bay.  PayPal provided no assistance.  Basically said ,"tough."   I filed a lawsuit against them in small claims court.  They were served on 10/26/2012 and are now calling me from 402 935 7733.  Finally got a live body to answer, the rep has no idea what is going on, now being transferred to a specialist??  "john" has no idea why I was called except for the huge chargeback on my account. I told him as I have told other, the chargeback on my account was due to a scam, a lawsuit has been filed AND there is a Do Not Call request on my account.  Guess we'll see what happens next.

Call from PayPal regarding a disputed charge I have with GoDaddy making unauthorized withdrawals [once again] from my account based on a subscription cancelled from a few years back!
