My account was debited by PAYPAL with this phone # listed for $5.99 right after I made an on-line purchase to Jessica London, I think that their website was hacked or the Paypal site was hacked. I immediately cancelled my card, but I also contacted the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) so they can track these thieves down. Please take the time to register on websites like this and to also complain to the FTC about these activities, otherwise they will never get caught.

$27.00 was charged to my bank account with no reason but this number.

I got a call this morning from this number. I simultaneously got an email from PayPal confirming that a $218 charge had gone through to my account. I had not made this online purchase. I checked the credit card account that backs up my PayPal balance, and found that three more online purchases had been made. I was glad I took immediate action both through calling PayPal directly myself and the back-up credit card company. The car stereo that was the first fraudulent charge was to be shipped to someone located at the Pondview Apartments at 2565 Ivy Ave E #211, Maplewood, MN 55119.  I actually don't know if it was PayPal initiating the call and email or if it was part of the phishing process, but I would suggest if you get a similar call/email, take the step of contacting them directly yourself and as immediately as possible.

I ended up with a charge on my Visa card from 1babtgirl.  I know sounds like porno, but it's a PayPal thing by a Joy Vazques who lives at 1389 Broadway Ave. Holbrook, NY 11741-5414.  Home phone is 631-737-0572 and her husband is Thomas.  Joy is 37, Thomas 36.  She runs Joyful Treasures which is a e-bay like shop for Bonanza.  Good luck.

Just found out I have several charges on my bank account...somebody's ass is in some deep trouble.

l just got mt money taken out of my account last night and im so pissed. i struggle to take care of my children. paypal needs to do something. i have not used paypal in more than 5 years with a total different card.

found these numbers on a series of cc bills.  went back and found each and every one legit for ebay purchases.  7733 no must be related to paypal and used for all sorts of misc transactions.  we went from thinking we'd be hacked or hijacked to finding we'd been charged appropriately for various things we'd purchased.  check yours out 1st on ebay before you get all upset - probably you!

We ended up with  a $1333  charge from Yungreis  for a supposed camera which we never purchased.. working on getting a refund.

Zero dollar pre-auth showed up on my bank account with 402-935-7733. Called the number and was taken directly to Paypal. Spoke with security department. They showed that it was a ping against my bank debit card only because I just moved and updated my address information.

They verified the timestamp and everything related to the transaction and it matched with what I had on my end in my list of address updates.

I found a debit from my bank account that read: PAYPAL *ADAM MAIL 4029357733 NC. This is from a purchase that I place on adameve.com and paid through their Pay Pal button. They label it as such so your banking instutution doesn't know you're ordering adult toys. As for the ones that use this phone number but not labeled as mine is, I don't know.

I received two charges on my American Express bill totaling $500.00 from this number with the notations:

PAYPAL.  *RREYNA15.   4029357733.   CA. (california address).
402-935-7733.

SIGN & TRAVEL. */ EXTENDED PAYMENT OPTION.

Both entries are exactly the same except for the amounts. My Paypal account is not secured by my AMEX.
It uses a different credit card and a bank account.
Paypal does not show any charges or deduction of these amounts on any statement.
When I discussed this with AMEX they placed both charges into "Investigation" and removed the charges.
The Agent also told me that the charges were placed using an old cancelled AMEX card. Not any of my current accounts through AMEX.

If you are not in the habit of item by item checking your credit card accounts I would suggest you start. $500.00 is a lot to lose by just paying your bill as is without insuring the charges are yours.

Not true, I have had mysterious charges show up on my card then when I dispute them they  (PayPal) says they didnt find anything and auto close the case give you the canned email that says if you need to further assistance you have to write and mail your dispute to ther home office. Its like wiping a booger offf under a seat. No one will help. I started seeing things go south after using Ebay through PayPal. however the transaction in question is now missing. Amazon owes me for a returned item , owe me over $500.00 Amazon says its PayPal that should be giving refund, and PayPal says Amazon. So Im in the middle with no one to help. They just go silent and basically its a silent F8ck you.
No ethics in this world anymore. Here I returned and item its now in there possession however for some secret cloak and dagar reason they are balking at giving me a refund. They have my money and the item now I have nothing, out both the item and moneys.  BULLISHIT/ AMAZON GET YOU ACT TOGETHER ALONG WITH PAY PAL WIPING YOU OFF AND DISMISSING you and any responsibility they might have. Nope,  they dont care, right now someone has my $500.00 and its not me, and i certainly didnt get the item for free so what gives??

This is a real PayPal number. I'm a paypal business user. I've been getting "courtesy" calls according to the message they leave in my voicemail. I've been getting calls twice a week for the last 2 weeks. They're trying to sell me some of their upgraded merchant services. I'd wish they take a clue that I'm not interested when I don't answer and don't call back.
