The key word here is "legitimate." If you ask a legitimate business to stop calling you, they will stop. Also, they will honor the Do Not Call registry and not call you unless you have had a previous contact with them. Scammers don't care about the DNC registry or your request and will continue to call or just change their identity and try again. And again.

This caller needs to stop calling my Nu.  I'm on the NO CALL LIST.  STOP NOW!

If this is exactly a survey call then it is exempt from the Do Not Call list.  To stop receiving calls from this never either answer and tell them to take your number off their list or block the number.

IT IS Gallop received the same call about my service with my mortgage company. I agree I get the scam calls but that doesn't mean every call is a scam.

I got a phone call on my cell phone. The only number it showed on the screen was 952. Does anyone know who this would be?

It shows... that the vast majority do not read what they sign/sign-up for, or if they do read, dont understand.  It also shows a system of loopholes (I don't want to be bothered by unwanted calls.  There is a DNC list.  It "should" solve the problem, but clearly it doesn't well enough.) that seem to allude the average person, rather than one of complete, and simplistic, transparency in a way people will be satisfied with, and understand.

you say you are calling in regards to finding out about our service that we received and yet I don't do any business with Wells Fargo or with Gallup in Omaha Nebraska so why would I be receiving phone calls from your company I'm reporting it I report every one that I get that I have no no business with

I keep these annoying calls from this number and they never answer or leave a message, this crap has got to stop

they claimed they were PNC doing a survey. told them I do not accept calls for surveys.

They have been relentless, calling twice a day for days.  Caller ID says gallup.  No worries, added the number to my call blocker.

They called me right after I fell asleep last night. I asked to be taken off their list, and got "We don't have a list since we aren't sales calls..." I said, you must have an autodialer though. Take me off of it, and I don't want to be called again. Why can't they just let people sleep?!?

Sure.............really?????????? You are either stupid or you work for these scammers!! We are not as stupid as you would like to be & think that there are actually companies out there that give a [***] about what we think about how we are treated or even if we like them!!!! Get a life loser!

Will show up as different companies each time they call if you have caller-id. One time came up "Gallap Poll" next was "Gallup Organiza" and another just "Gallup" -- obviously I caught on by the Gallup name. Put on the reject list.

If someone calls you and doesn't leave a message...It's a SCAM.

This company called to do a survey of my recent experience with some service work I had arranged through Home Depot. Although it may be annoying to get these types of calls, they are NOT scammers.

Not that I am defending rude people, but I can see how people would get extremely frustrated because you call repeatedly. If you are not scammers then have gallup poll on your caller ID. Also just leave a message if we are interested in calling you back we will if we have no interest in talking to you we will not call you back just as we are never going to answer any of your calls and eventually will become frustrated and say or do something that will be very rude.
