Pollsters most certainly are soliciting something. Like any other telemarketer, they are entering your home unbidden and stealing your time so that they profit from your loss. Any info they get from you is sold for profit like a burglar who sells your stolen property.

I say to you all, have fun with these calls like I do. When they call, answer but dont say anything. Just blow an air horn into the phone, scream like you are being murdered, or pretend like you're a telemarketer too. "Thanks for calling back so soon after we got disconnected. So, you want the 3yr time share in Cabo, correct?" Then just ramble on. They will get the hint! Just an FYI, the air horn works the best! lol

Believe me, I do not think this is Wells Fargo. They don't just call to see how you are doing and what you think of them without first you receiving something in the mail.  I just blocked this number as anyone who calls me after 9 p.m. (West Coast time) could possibly be legit..

I had a scam call from Wells Fargo and they told me they do not make such calls and that a scam is currently going on, do not tell them anything about anything and you will be ok...Scammers, such deadbeats of society.

No, it is not a scammer. If anyone actually listened to them....you would have some nice person asking you to rate your experience from 1-5. NO questions about your account number or soc sec number or anything else that might be used to scam you!
Some companies and organizations do actually want to know if you are pleased with the service (even if they don't act like it much). Is America really this paranoid?
I got a several calls from the "eventvwr" scammers recently and hung up on them...but one scam does not make EVERYONE a scam. Report them for what?

I don't have anything with Wells Fargo and they called me last night.  Didn't answer and they left no message.

Why do you feel sorry for companies like Gallop? They are for-profit-companies who are paying their employees to make these unsolicited harassing phone calls. I always ask what are they offering to pay me to answer their poll questions, at which point they always end the call.

This phone number called me several times and then I got my name on the do not call list and now they called me again. I don't answer.

Calls private Verizon Cell # daily - no message left - do not answer- This number is registered on the Do Not Call List.

A call originating from this number arrived this evening.  When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message.  According to www.whitepages.com this is a landline in North Bend, Nebraska.  Why are they calling me in Southern California?  Several others state this is the Gallup organization doing a survey on behalf of Citibank.  Whether or not that is true, they have no right to violate my privacy, any more than any of the thousands of scam artists that call every day.  To hell with all of them!

I love you comment ;) I work at gallup in Omaha, NE and people just need to listen to what we say. WE ARE NOT SCAMMERS! We are paid from banks, companies, and etc. to ask them quick questions about the service they receive while at the bank, company, and etc. Sometimes I wish people weren't so rude! Us employees are paid off of how many surveys we get and for those who do do them, they are really RUDE!

I am on the Do Not Call list both home and cell #.  I don't give out my cell phone # to any company because I don't want calls on that phone.  I have been called by the same number every day on my cell phone.  I don't answer it so I'm not sure what company it is.  Why have a do not call list if they are still going to call.
