I keep getting this on my mobile and it is irritating to say the least. They don't even answer when I answer the phone on the first ring.  I wish they would please not call me.

I got a call on my cell phone from this number and I'm on the DO NOT CALL list.  I do not appreciate the calls that are unsolicited and will give them a piece of my mind now that I know who these jerks are!!

I got the same call, surprised 2 c so many with the same number from an Person who has nothing better to do with their time

I got a few calls from this number as well. Finally decided to pick up tonight, she said she was from some Gallup company and asked me about my experience at a Wachovia in NY. I figure it was my mom, because I haven't been to that bank in years, since I live in PA. She said ok, and that was it. I'm assuming they won't call anymore. Eh, who knows.

Just received a call from 402-952-4444 telling me they were calling from Regions Bank inquiring if I was the account holder. I told the guy I wouldn't answer that question however I asked him what division of Regions he was calling from and he said he didn't know....

I hung up the phone. If this is a legitimate third party company calling on behalf of Regions, they need to sound more reputable on the phone.

these people called me twice, on the second time, i answered there questions with off the wall responses. the man on the other end became irrate and hung up on me, they havnt called back since. for example: when they ask you how satisfied you are with your current banking institution? tell them u like ham sandwiches but not with mustard, only with jelly and horseradish. they laugh at first, but after about 5 odd responses they hang up and put u on the "insane caller list"

I called the number back and pressed 1 and clearly asked them to remove our phone number from their list, but they didn't do so and called back again. They are pests!

Really, is it that hard to pick up the phone, listen to what they have to say, make an educated decision whether or not to participate in a survey (it is not a telemarketer, so the do-not call list does not apply).  If you choose not to participate, all you have to do is ask for your number to be removed from their database, and you'll receive no more phone calls.  Honestly, who are the bigger jerks, some college student sitting in an uncomfortable booth getting yelled and and threatened all day, or the person on the receiving end threatening and calling them names (when they may politely ask to be removed)?  Do the math, and remember that the small niceties help our society function without bloodshed and headaches.  Please have common courtesy.  And for all you "DO NOT TRUST" people, stop the paranoia please.

And I did receive a call from them: I choose to complete the survey because I can multi-task and make dinner at the same time as a 5-10 minute call.  Even if it's at 10 PM I still do it, they don't want to be there either, but they need to have a certain number of responses before they can stop calling on a survey.  Be nice, or at least ask POLITELY to be removed from their database.

we got a call from this number before. My boyfriend answered and it was a political polling place. They just called again and they are getting on my nerves. We are on the Do not call list and for some reason they sneak through.

You people that are complaining like you have a stick up your tight ass need to settle down.  I highly doubt these people are just war-dialing (i.e. dial 555-1000, 555-1001, 555-1002, 555-1003).  They got your number (and mine) from some kind of a source.  If you want to have a number that is 100% private then don't use it when you sign up for stuff, only give it out to friends.  Its the same thing with email.

Also, why is it such a big deal to get one call?  Answer the call, say 'no, not interested, please take me off your call list.'  That is all you gotta do.  This is America, these people calling have rights too.  In my opninion the "Do Not Call" list is BS and should not be an actual law, but more of a social agreement.  If a company is found to be calling people on the Do Not Call List then the people should boycott their services altogether, but it should not be a law.

I completely agree, the callers have rights and they should be able to call anyone who hasn't actively stated that they don't want to be cold-called.  However, the DO NOT CALL list is a place where people CAN actively state that they want to be left alone.

JOHN above me says that "all you gotta do" is answer the phone, say no... blah blah... and that's 5-10 minutes of your time for the ONE call.  Now how many more are you ok w/ taking this time from you?

#3 - Sign up for and support the do-not-call list.  This is America, if you want to be free from calls like this, you should have the ability to do it.

I also have received calls from this number, and understand the frustration of getting calls when on the do not call list...those who justify companies calling people on the do not call list appear to be missing the point; we do not want calls, and the point of being on the do not call list is so that we will not have to call companies in order for them to take us off the lists. Something needs to be done about these companies, well intentioned or not, using numbers that should be barred from their lists. that's all i got

We also got this call tonite @ 8:38pm Central time from the "gallup" #1-402-952-4444.  They asked my son his name & if he had used his bank card recently at one of our local ATM machines.  They even had the name of the road that our ATM is located & the name of our bank.
Currently he doesn't even have a card due to another scam that got him 2 months ago. I did call them back and press 1 & asked to be removed from there calling list. I was gone to the hospital having my heart checked out. I wish I would have been here. The name of the guy that called said his name was Jerry. I hope they call back one more time, I'm gonna turn my Husband lose on them next time..LOL

Called my cell phone but left no message.

I had new carpet installed by Empire.. that's when it all started.
