Unknown caller calling my cell.

I had received twice calls from this #...
how to solve this, mean to stop it?...
any advise?

Seriously, you guys!! This is just a survey company.  The reason why they're calling you on your cell phones is because you gave a company your cell number and then they gave it to Gallup to call you to check up for satisfaction scores!! It's not a big deal.  It's not illegal.  It's just what they do.  If you want them to stop calling, just answer the phone and tell them that or just call back and leave a message saying so.

i was called by them as well. i have yet to pick up. what's funny is people have proclaimed angrily that they are on the do not call list, and therefore should not receive such calls, and this prompted some very clever people to point out the obvious fact that the do not call list does not apply to surveys. Just a tip, clever people, if a number is on the do not call list, it means the owner of that number doesn't want to be called. It doesn't matter if you're legally allowed to call them; they still don't want you to call them. So don't bother calling numbers like that...

just got a call from them, I anwsered and they hung up.

I am getting this call on my cell phone. I thought these were blocked on cells.
How do we get rid of them.

I too have been getting calls from this number. The number popped up in my caller ID and I did not recognize it so I ignored the call. My voicemail doesn't even state my name, its a generic voicemail so when will they get a clue that I won't be answering their call?

Who are these people and how in the world did they get my cell number? I have been reading past postings but it seems as though their a few companies that this could be.

How do we get them to stop calling?

I just received a call from this number, but I didn't answer it because I didn't recognize it.  When my answering machine kicked in, they hung up.

Just got a call from this number, the guy said he was with Wachovia-so I was INSTANTLY suspicious and told him that the person he was trying to talk to was unavailable. He refused to leave a message about why he was calling. I told him to call back in the morning, and he said they only make phone calls in the evening. I called my bank, Wachovia, as soon as I got off the phone. They said that they knew nothing about such a phone call and advised me to be cautious of my account.

Getting calls from 402-952-4444 and am on the Do Not Call List.

they called my cell phone several times and i don't answer numbers i don't know. Now i really know not to answer. thanks for the info people :)

Its fun to read all the comments, especially when people type in ALL CAPS and when they're really mad they put spaces I N  B E T W E E N! I think people need to get over it...you have a phone, this is part of owning one. I was called by the number and google'd it just to see who it was; but now I'm one of those who writes on a website like this. Cliche!

I hate to tell you all this, I work with Gallup. WE deffinatly dont sell anything we do serves only. The companys we are contracted with are regions bank, wakovia,cnn, etc. The thing is the DO NOT CALL LIST PERTAINS ONLY TO {TELLEMARKETERS} At gallup we dont sell anything, so the 1800 do not call list doesnt affect gallup b/c there are no items we sell

This reply goes to Glendon, PG  the so call Undisclosed Regulatory Agency and for all of you annoyed by this matter I found a solution! don't pick up the phone!!! as simple as that. If the call is of any importance to you or the person who is calling I am sure there would be a message, the only thing that bothers me is having to erase all the spam #'s from my ID caller, other than this I really don't care how much they call I will not suffer
from health problems or loose my sleep over it, if they are in that bad of shape that need to ask the elderly, me or any other broke American they are wasting their time, they need to ask the Government for a bail out they manage pretty good when it comes to printing $$$ LOL make the best out of life and don't let this IDIOTS ruin your pitiful lives.
