Second call came today- no voice mail.  Both calls have come in on my cell-phone.

Asking about banking account....?????

Is anybody will do something? Any place to complain?

This number is for the Gallup Polling Organization, as mentioned by others.  They called incessantly for a few days while I was gone, and I finally was home today to answer.  Asked questions about my opinion on political issues.  They really aren't trying to sell you something, but just looking to get an idea of what the "common" folks think.  Because they're not trying to sell things, and only looking to survey you, then it doesn't matter that you're on the "do not call" list.  They can legally call.

I am on the do not call list and I have caller ID and did not answer but I had to quit what I was doing to check the ID.

Got a call from 402-952-4444 in which they stated they were from Gallup.  I said Who? Then he said he was from Regions Bank and wanted to know if I had an account with them. I said Yes. He then asked if I had time for a survey to answer a few questions about a recent transaction I made with Regions Bank. I told him to put me on their DNC list in which he said he would do. I then hung up.  Strange.

People...if you call them back you will get a recording and find they are a valid polling service, and if you stay on the line you can press #1 to leave a message. As long as you clearly state your name and phone number and ask for it to be removed they WILL remove it. Our company has answered polls for them, and they are good about removing your phone number if you ask them to.

called me today told them I'm with Homeland Security and how did they get my number which is on the no call list? asked him for his name and employee ID #, his sup's name and busniess ID number the guy hung up.

Was called by this number today. Male caller asked to speak with either parent of student J____ O_____. Since there is no one here by that name, I told them they had the wrong number. They said "Okay" and hung up.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone at 7:19PM tonight. Am on the no call list.

behalf of Wachovia Bank asking if I was in a brach office in Atlanta. Really suspicious...

I got a call.  It may be bank related - I answered (by mistake) and they surveyed me after I closed a CD with one of my banks - So, if you opened and account closed an account, got a loan, paid off a loan and so forth - then you might want to call the bank you're working with and complain to them.

I have recieved numerous calls from this number. To the point that I was ASLEEP AT 11p.m.PACIFIC TIME on a TUESDAY NIGHT. I was furious and had to go to work the next day after being up with a very sick child. the night before. it didn't just ring but i hung up the phone and they immediatelly called back 5 times. Go figure..how STUPID are these people. As far as I am concerned a BUSINESS DOES NOT NEED TO GIVE THEIR CUSTOMERS NUMBER OUT ITS CONFIDENTIAL...ALL THAT DOES IS MAKE ME WANT TO LEAVE THAT BUSINESS AND NO LONGER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. If you are that worried about your ratings...then hire people that can do their job. Or here is a tip..USE SUGGESTION CARDS..make them avaliable freely and IF the customer wants to complain then they will.

Received a call from this number.  No message left.

They called at 7:00pm, i didn't answer cuz i didn't recognize the number. Caller ID said it was from Gallup. I thought it was Gallup New Mexico, as I live in New Mexcio but it is 402 area code not 505. The message they left was a series of clicking sounds then a recorded voice saying "you have an important business matter concerning our office, leaving a 1-800 number." I won't be calling, I don't have important business matters, I'm just a regular guy. Definately a scam of some kind.
