I respect your opinion but in today's world most use their cell phone as a main POC (point of contact).  Just thought you should keep that in mind before the name calling.

I have received calls from this number, I left a message to remove my number and have yet to receive another call.

called my cell phone today at 7:35pm.  I am also on the do not call list.

This is a legit polling company if you don't wish to be called either answer it and ask them to remove you or call the number and leave a message including your name and number and they will not call you again...

Caller ID showed that they called while I was out. Call back to that number gives recording that it is Gallup survey.  Technically this is exemption to Do-Not-Call list.  If they are calling mobile phone, it is not.

You can report them to FTC and Nebraska Attorney General.

I am as contemptuous of pollsters as any other telemarketer.  Do you want to get rid of them for a while?  Answer their questions.  The answer to ALL yes-no questions is always "No."  Your age is 39, same as Jack Benny.

These people finally go through to me today. They are indeed Gallup.  They called to inquire about a customer service call I had made to Wachovia Bank.  It took a few minutes, wasn't a big deal at all and she was very polite.  NOT trying to sell ANYTHING.

I received the same call on my cell phone tonight folks and did not recognize the number.  So, I simply Googled it and came across this post. I'll head the advice here and call back, dial #1 and ask to be removed.  Thanks for the post and help.

Not to mention most americans no longer have a home number.  To be paying 2 phone bills when you really only need one phone is quite dumb!

This has been a very annoying call --- I dont know what they want. All they do is call and hang up the phone, before I can even attend it. Its very disturbing, especially during the nights.

I received a call from this number on Friday night about 7 pm.  They asked if I was "El Dorado" and when I told them they had the wrong number, they hung up.

I am registered with Do Not Call and received a call from this number and gane on my Caller ID.

These people keep calling me and I am sick of the whole thing.  We are on the no call list, but it seems they are very insensitive to peoples privacy or wishes.

Same thing for me called asked about my recent banking transaction at WF and named a specific location. I called WF and they said it was a scam and DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO. Wierd

A lot of people like to complain.

They call our home and leave no message. I wished they would not bother us. Our number is private. A doctor needs time for more important calls and none of this phone nonsense... Too busy!!!!

I'm tired of the harassment! My snake is tired too. He gets all wound-up every time the phone rings.... So knock it off guys!
