I am sure they are a good company that may be very helpful and I hate to say bad things about anyone but I have left 4 messages.  My 60 second messages have been very clear and still the calls keep coming.  The last call was today as I was on the phone talking to the FTC about the sudden increase in "Poll" calls that we have been recieving here in NH.  This is insane.  I know that they are not behind all of these calls.  They are just one of many companies trying to get information.  Still continue to leave messages and ask to have calls stopped, just be prepared to have to go further if necessary...just do it with kindness and tolerance.  Good luck!

I have gotten WAAAAAAAY to many calls from these dumba$$'$ I got one today and finally told the lady to to get f#*ked.

I live in West Palm and I recieved a call from this company too. Apparently they are merely a survey company.

I got a call today from Gallup org 4029524444  ... a clear spoken woman ask for me by name, I said this was her and she said (without telling me who she was) asked if i backed on Monday at so and so Branch.. I was alarmed by a question like that. I ask who she was and she said she was with Gallup and wanted to do a survey on my visit to the bank.  I said I did not know who Gallup was and would not do the survey.. She Kindly said thank you for your time.  Call ended..

The way the law is written they are allow to call you.  The Gallup Organization, a Phone Survey / Market Research Company.

Actually, yes you are a telemarketer.  A telemarketer calls to sell you something in return for money, No?  A non-profit panhandling over the phone has only changed the goods (from tangible to intangible).  The Do-Not-Call laws have made an exception for you so you are not violating any laws.  Get beyond that technicality and you are of the same cloth as the other scam artists.  I will be angry with you when you call if I so choose to.  You are certainly welcome to hang up.  I personally have gone to great lengths to insure my privacy. My telephone system (I built it myself) will not allow you to ring me after 9pm or before 8am unless you are on a list authorised to do so.  If you get yourself on another list you go straight to voice mail without ringing my house phones.  The last list involves the tri-tone number disconnected message and then it hangs up on you.

Just got a call from 402-952-4444. Didn't answer it. Don't answer numbers I don't recognize. Don't know anyone in Nebraska.

No, you don't.  As originally written you had to re-register every 5 years, but about 4 years after the law was passed, as the 1st round of people approached the re-register date, the law was changed.  Now retistration is permanant.

I've gotten two calls from them recently, one this past Sunday and one just a few minutes ago. I didn't answer and don't plan to. I've been with the same bank for about 7 years now and haven't physically gone in to the bank or communicated with anyone from my bank in at least 8 months. There's really no reason for them to be contacting me.

I have to agree with the person who identifies himself as "Tired of the calls".  I shouldn't have to call anyone and ask to be removed from their list.  I have registered both my home number and my cell phone number with the Do Not Call registry.  I pay for an unlisted number.  I don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number or if the Caller ID says "Uknown" or "Unavailable"  If they leave a message, I delete without listening to it and and I don't call them back.   Clearly I have stated that I do not wish to be bothered by solicitors, fund raisers or survey takers.  Now on top of all that I should have to call them and ask them to stop calling me?  No, that's absurd.  Take a hint already.  I pay for my phone, if the telemarketing company wishes to pay my phone bill, I will talk to them whenever they like.

These calls are NOT FROM A SURVEY company.  They are a collection agency trying to identify occupants of your house through a FAKE "survey".  They even use voice recognition software.   They are a COLLECTION AGENCY.  Either Stellar Receivables or Receivable Performance Management.
