I'm pretty sure that if you owe a company money, as is the case with a debt collector, they don't care what kind of phone you have (cell phone or land line). For as long as you owe them money, you forfeit the right to expect them to not call.

Call on 12/18/2012 called id said Gallup poll?? Man wanted to do a survey about how much I drink alcohol.  Very scary.  I ended up saying that this was a stupid survey and I was not going to answer any more questions.

It's me again.  The call was on my cell phone.  How can I report this?  I feel as if I am being stalked.  In reading other posts it appears as though the number 402 952-4444 is also used for surveys and information not really a gallup poll subject.  Can't this be traced?  I hung up on him and he did call back two times and I did not answer and he did not leave a message.

Just like other complaintants, I too am being bombarded daily with calls from this number, identifying themselves as the "Gallop Poll".  I have asked and finally demanded that they remove my number from their database, and during the last call, someone actually wanted to argue with me in reference to my request.  Ignoring calls do not work.  Besides, the interrupting call itself is annoying.  People have the right to refuse to participate.  There HAS to be some legal action that can be taken against repeated calls after requesting to be removed, and DAMN IT, I'M GOING TO FIND ONE AND STICK IT TO THEM!!!!

Right, Mustafa, I do not have to answer the phone.  But the constant ringing interrupts daily activities and even sleep.  And don't tell me to turn my ringer off.  There ARE some calls that I don't mind being interrupted for.  Now it doesn't take a rocket scientist to remove your number from the list, or does it?

Seems like he's the moron for reading the threads if he doesn't have a complaint.  He must be one of the idiotic callers
