what exactly guarantees the company calling actually is the Gallup Poll- just becoz the caller id is programmed to say so?
what… scammers never lie?? these guys are phishing for Wells Fargo Customers personal info, plain & simple.

Yeah, we don't fall for that. We just code "no answer",  leave a note for the next interviewer that you pulled the "got another call" trick, We'll call back. Our clients hire us to.

I am not sure whether this actually is Gallup or a scam using their name.  The caller wanted to talk to my husband about his recent visit to Wells Fargo.  However, this is not possible, as he is an invalid and does not go to Wells Fargo or any other bank.  I looked up the number shown on caller ID, and it is said to be associated with Sidney Chasin, with Windstream Com, Omaha, NE.  Several addresses in other states are also shown.  Could caller ID posslbly be showing a fake number and name?

this is a survey company named Gallup...calling to do a phone survey.

Keep getting calls 2 to 3 times a day. Told them to take our number off list. Now they call and don't say anything. They call as late as 9:15 pm. The number that calls us is 402-952-4444.

Are you not reading the posts??  If you just want to rant and rave, knock yourselves out.  But I didn't know who this was either.  I Read the posts here.  Realized it was the Gallup Poll service who, as a polling service, is not legally covered by the Do Not Call registry and can call your number.  But you can call the number back, press #1, and leave a message telling them to delete your number.  And they will.  Easy.  All you gotta do is read...

These dipsticks seem to have just discovered me.  Hung up on them by the second ring and blocked em last night, and I see they called again this morning.  Telemarketers or pollsters--they're all Human turds.

BEWARE...BEWARE....BEWARE...I got a call from this number and did not answer. A person I know was also called and when she answered was told she had a virus on her computer. I don't believe this is a polling site, but a scam to get your info....BEWARE...BEWARE...BEWARE

Received a call from 402-952-4444 today.  Caller ID showed 'Gallup Organization'.
When I receive calls like this one I NEVER answer.  They usually only call a few times over a few weeks and then give up.
My advice is DON'T answer these type calls.

I answered the other day and it was a lady wanting to do a survey about the place where I bank I was at work and told her I didn't have time and now they are calling at 830 at night. I am sick of it

I keep getting calls on my cell phone but do not answer them. if its a number I don't know I don't answer. it said Nebraska.

This number called me claiming to be "Gallup poll calling on behalf of Regions" and wanted to do a brief survey about my experience at my Regions bank yesterday.  (Yes I do bank at Regions and I was at my bank yesterday; seemed legit.)  I agreed to the survey but when I advised that I had only gone through the ATM and didn't see a teller, I was promptly hung up on.  Sheesh.

Please stop calling 812 483 1533.  This is a registered "do not call" number.

IMPORTANT THE REASON ALL OF US ARE RECEIVING THESE UNSOLICITED CALLS IS TO AVOID THE "DO NOT CALL LIST" AND AS A PREVIOUS BLOGGER STATED THEY ARE USING COMPUTER GENERATED NUMBERS WHICH THE GET EVERY DAY FROM THE PHONE COMPANY OF UNASSIGNED NEW AVAILABLE PHONE NUMBERS TO PLACE THESE CALLS. THE LAST ON I RECEIVED 213-223-126 - NOTICED THE LAST NUMBER IS MISSING... MY SOLUTION TO THESE IS BELOW - ENJOY
Yes I received a call from 402-952-4444 they leave no voice mail. I have a very good solution for all of you who are on this post. Create a user called Nucense (Nuisance) misspelling is important! assign a special ringer to that user and every time you receive a phone call from a number you do not have in your phone address book and have the feeling its a bogus call just assign them to that name. Currently I have 16 of these with 6 numbers in each on. I have assigned them and added them using a corresponding number (1, 2, 3 etc).
