Thank you..this makes sense. I just got a call from this number...no message. i do not answer unidentified calls. Too many scams out there these days.

FYI- I do not answer any calls if I do not know the #. If it is important, they will leave a voicemail. I also add any company and buisness I know to the contact list plus any no. they use. If you do this they eventually stop calling. Also if you have a smart phone you can turn on your blocking mode. I set mine for 8 pm to 8 am. Turn it on when I go to bed and off after I get up. Adding a no. to blocking list on your phone just makes it go straight to voice and you do not hear the call coming in then your wasting time checking your voicemail. Try it !

I have an unlisted number just for these kind of calls... Its always a computer so you can't talk to anyone to tell them to take our name off there list... Please help me so they quite calling us

Woah man there's lots of comments. I received their call, just ignored and then blocked from my Panasonic phone. A big clue to these idiot calls is out of area calls !

It's Gallop calling to ask your opinion about some issue. If you don't want them calling, just answer the phone and be polite and ask them to take your number off their call list.

Otherwise, answer the questions (they won't ask for any personal information), and show up in the national poll!

This number keeps calling me, nearly every day and is obviously a telemarketer.

No call registry/list does not work!  This annoying company has been calling my landline, daily, Reported !!!t

I've received multiple calls from "Omaha, NE" in the last few weeks and do not answer.  They called last night, and again this morning.  I finally answered this morning and after waiting to be connected, it was an Asian-sounding woman that i hardly understood, asking something about anyone in my household being involved in a car accident.  Also something about "health department".  I have no idea what she was talking about.  I asked twice to be removed from their calling list.  We sill see what happens.

I performed a "Reverse Phone Number Search" and learned that, 1 - (402) - 952 - 4444, is a Windstream Communications Landline in Omaha, Nebraska. The number is associated with a man by the name of Sydney Chasin. He may, or may not be working for, or in some way connected with, the Gallop Polls.

After gathering this information I waited for his next call. When the phone rang I answered immediately saying... "I don't know anyone named Sydney Chasin and I'm not interested in participating in a Gallop Poll so don't call again. I guess this must have freaked him out because he actually started to speak to me in a very angry voice but by then I was already in the process of hanging up my phone.

Once you take away the power of anonymity they all become shrinking violets quite quickly.

Unwanted calls couple of times this week. I refuse to answer numbers I don't know especially well out of the area where I live and work.

I keep getting the same call. I answer everytime but no one says anything on the other end. It's extremely annoying especially when they call when my young children are sleeping.

Please stop calling

402-952-4444 Called and said they were with Gallup Poll surveys and wanted me to respond to questions that my bank (they named the one of the banks I use) commissioned them to ask customers. Then they led with the question..."XXXXXX is your bank, right?" before I could say anything. So I told them forget it and hung up.

Receiving unwanted  calls from  The Gallup Poll @ 402-952-4444. Have requested my number be removed from their database  more than once. May have to contact the FCC.

Get calls from this number couple times a week on my cell never pick up and they never leave a message. Driving my crazy tried blocking the call last night hoping it works

Keeps calling daily on about the same time, does not leave a message.  Shows as an Unknown number.  

Supposed from Gallup Organization - 402-952-4444. Survey for Wells Fargo transactions.

Definitely initiated by Wells Fargo, even if it is Gallup poll , as I opened a new joint account there last week, gave two cell numbers for the two of us, and we are both getting the same call daily.  What bugs me is I "opted out" of privacy disclosure within an hour of opening the account, but the info got out already.  Thinking very differently about Wells Fargo now, and how many others were given the phone numbers.
