Called here before stating they had a wrong number but tried to get us to rent one of their time shares.  It's all a lie place because I just got another call this month from them & they're wanting to rent or sell our time share for themselves.

I never authorized that place to ever call us.

Time shares are nice to use on vacation, BUT, you're told one thing & then 2 yrs later the rules & owners change & they get away with something else contract wise.  So beware if you're thinking buying a time share.  Once they're sold out, they find loop holes to change your contract so you lost more & more unless you pay thousands up one thousands dollars to upgrade to keep what you currently had in the first place.

The key to any time share acquisition is buying on the secondary market, having a good understanding of historical maintenance fees, figuring out how to get rid of it, and having the money and the time to take advantage of the facility.  Nowadays, good condos in many locations cost about as much as maintenance fees, bringing the value down somewhat. I have found there is an increasing industry building up selling timeshares with backend commissions.  (Google for lists)

Could be the owner owned the timeshare outright, then simply got rid of it by a deed in lieu to the resort or let it slide into foreclosure.  You might take a hit to your FICO score, but that is about it.

Richard Zachary, Steve Newman and Mike G aka Mike Garcia...and many more ALL used to work at Timeshare Hot List (they were the same gross guys that used to hit on us women). Yes they took your money and now they are working at a company call ICE Enterprises. Don't be fooled by these posters. They had no problem spending your money for the time they worked at THL (yes its a scam and these guys helped perpetrate it) Richard worked there for almost four years, couldn't be that bad..... Every resale company is a sham but don't let all these posts from past disgruntled employees fool you. You cant take advice about a company from the same people who used to STEAL from you.

Westgate are the ones who ripped you off to begin with & since you lost money$$$ you try to get it back by saying you want an x amount of dollars when you know it is not worth that much ! Be sensible what your listing it at, Westgate sold it to you way to high & you will never get that amount & thats why you wont get any offers so blame westgate !

The called me and first told me they were from Interval International and that I had to pay $500 to redeem my bonus week and that I had to pay before 2014 or else I wasn't going to be able to trade my week.  That those $500 were additional to my membership with them.  I was at work so I scheduled a call three days later (on a Saturday).  He knew my name and phone number.  I called Westgate and Interval International and they had no idea of what was I asking them about.  Then I called TH back and they explained they were another company (not Interval, like they said first).  I wanted to speak in Spanish (which is my native language) and to my surprise the guy who talked to me was the same that called me three days before and made the same lame joke and laughed, like the first time he called me.  That was a red flag for me.  I told him I was not interested because my husband and I are young and for now we intent to use our week every year because we are paying for it.  He reacted kind of disappointed and hung up.  Then they called me again and hung up... weird!!
