Stop calling.

this is the third time you've called my house.  the next call will be reported to the local authorities and the FCC.  if that does not help, the DA will certainly be interested in all the calls you make to people in the usa.  so, be warned.

Another "Rachel from card member services" call.

According to an article, these calls (or at least some of them) are allegedly coming from a company in Arizona:

"But before the agent managed to hang up, she identified her company as both Ambrosia Web Design and AWD CAM Services, and said they were based in Arizona. That gave me something to go on. According to the Arizona Corporation Commission, Ambrosia Web Design is operated by someone named Chris Ambrosia out of a house in Mesa. A company called CAM Services Direct is also registered to Ambrosia and, according to state records, operates out of the same Mesa house."

we repeatedly receive phone calls from this number dispite telling them do not call and other times pushing the number we were told by the automated voice if we no longer want to be called.  The calls come at various time of the day and evening  up to 8:45pm.
The automated voice refers to our crdit cards and balance.  When I actually held on to speak with someone I  was asked for my credit card number and the amount on the card.  I refused to give this information and the very rude person ( a man) hung up.  If there is a class action against this company we would like to be included.

This call came over my cell, and did not answer it.  From the looks of the above comments, I'm glad I didn't. Why are these companies and the phone companies getting away with invasion of privacy? The Do Not Call Registry is worthless.  Who is at the source of  these calls and why do they continue to get away with disturbing our meals and peaceful days?????.

Thanks for the info. Between Rachel and Heather's recordings they've become quite annoying, Actually, Harassing is more like it. How do these rackets continue to get away with it?

Caller ID came up as "Robert Kennedy"???  I have received at least 50 calls from these people, using various different phone numbers, on both my home phone and cell phone.  I have asked to be removed from their list, have talked to their "representatives" twice, once was hung up on, the second time argued with by some incredibly rude kid, talking to me like I was a moron:  "What could I possibly do with your credit card number?"  These people offer to lower your interest rates on your credit cards; but, of course, in order to do that you need to provide them with your card number(s), expiration date and code on the back of the card.  THEY ARE THIEVES AND LIARS.  NEVER, EVER, EVER GIVE OUT A CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO ANYBODY!!!  It amazes me that they can still find people stupid enough to give them this information over the phone, but they obviously can.  When I call any of the numbers back, I get "I'm sorry. You have reached a number that has been disconnected."

Getting calls from 1 407 660-9999. They will not take me off their list. It seems this keeps happening to many people. I told the girl that she had made a big mistake by calling me so many times,she said "oh yeah! what are you gonna do about it?" very snotty like.I told her that I was a computer expert and that I had spent countless hours tracking the number and that I had the address of the building she worked from,she said "so what!!?,there is nothing you can do!" I then told her that she did not understand what I was trying to say,she acted confused and asked what I meant and I then told her that I had been in prison and several different mental hospitals for going on a shooting spree at my former job and that her calls had triggered my obsession to kill again! She said "are you for real?" she giggled a bit and I said in a very lulled voice, "yes,I am on my way to find her." and that "she is now the target of my obsession" and "I won't stop till I find her" HA HA HA HA!!!!! she freaked!!! She hung up faster than you can blink an eye and they have not called for months! I love messing with people!!

A call from the dead. Robert Kennedy called today.. no one was on the other end though sadly so I could blow my whistle!

I know these scammers like reading through all these posts/threads so darn it, stay on the line, I promise to break your ear drums for you!   it won't hurt for long!  Really, it won't!  I won't give ya my info, but I will blow my whistle, come on, call me back!  Make my day!

Just got a call from 407-660-9999 - caller id showed "Robert Kennedy".  Being on the do not call registry isn't worth the effort.  How do you get these idiots to stop?

This phone number was on my caller ID at home.  I happen to be a paralegal who actually works for an attorney named Robert Kennedy so I immediately recognized that it was not a call from my boss.  I tried to return the call and got a recording stating that the number is no longer in service.  Our clients are calling every day after they see the name on their caller ID thinking that we are trying to call them.  We even have clients come in to the office assuming that something is wrong.  This is becoming very time consuming and annoying in that we have to try to explain to our clients what is really going on.

The person who owns these #s appears to actually be Stephen Hamilton with a company called PacficTel not the phone company but a scammer telemarketign company. Mr. Hamilton's direct personal # is 310-895-0574 - feel free to call him and harrass him right back. The address associated with PacificTel is 12228 Venice Blfd. #559 Los Angeles CA 90066 - a scummy apartment area in East LA. I get these calls all the time and just let it go to the machine. The frequency seems to have increased dramatically ever since joining AARP. Kind of makes you wonder.

same aggravating calls here, also on do not call list.  There should be some sort of action taken against this type of fraudelent activity
