The DO NOT CALL list is probably how they got our phone numbers. I did that too and keep getting calls from these people.

Caller left no voicemail message.  Caller ID does not identify caller.  Call appears to come from Wisconsin.  I don't know anyone in Wisconsin.  I have blocked this number.

I am on the federal Do Not Call list and my phone number is unlisted.  Even so, I receive anonymous phone calls like this one almost every day.  Some callers call me up to three times in a minute, yet don't leave a message.  Why do they bother?

Exactly...what better way for the .gov of this country to make some money than to sell the numbers on the Do Not Call list to the telemarketers?

Just got a call from them. Didn't answer. I think all marketing calls should be banned. We have a right to privacy in our homes. Being on a Do not Call seems to only help but not totally prevent these calls.

Well, this is the 23rd page of comments about these scammers.  But they just don't care, do they?  Block or ignore is the only approach that works.

Thanks for the posts. The company I'm working for is headquartered in Wisconsin, so I thought it might be from one of their cell phones. Didn't answer it, they didn't leave a message. Glad I didn't answer it after reading the posts.

Called and I didn't pick up. I don't answer calls from numbers I'm not familiar with. Of course they didn't leave a message. It is true, a lot of these places simply keep calling over and over. It takes a long time for them to give up. Well, maybe they never give up, they just change numbers and start over.

now, they're using prepaid wireless phones to make scam calls...I knew the day would come!  once the minutes are used up, they can't be traced.

I receive this call from 414-232-5011. No message left. I don't answer calls I don't recognize. I will not call back. So whoever is calling from this number needs to stop calling. Must not have a life. Boring. They need to quite making money off of my cell phone.

I have received  a call from this number, showing Wisconsin in the caller ID.  I do not pick up calls that I either do not recognize the number or the caller ID.  These scammers are so tricky that they can change the caller ID to something familiar in hopes you pick up the call.  Be aware and do not answer unless you know who it is and if any doubt, let it go to messaging and check the message.  I used to work for a ligitimate (sp) telemarketing co. years ago who computer called.  Once the number was called 3-4 times with no answer it was automatically dropped.  True today, I don't know.  At least it is a try.  Just don't answer.  This may be the best anyone can do until the government and industry come together to address "this scamming of money and time wasting issue."

I've been getting calls from this number also.  My caller ID says "wireless caller".  I live in south-central Michigan.  I don't answer and there is never any message left.  I'm also on the DNC list.  Think many nuisance callers have found ways around this by representing themselves as some sort of "Nonprofit" or they say they aren't SELLING anything-just "giving " something away!  Very slimy and F'N annoying.

I too am sick of these scam calls with no way to stop them. This is corporate America, who wants to get their greedy hands on any assets you have as long as some remain. Any information they have on us is willingly sold to whomever will pay. I'm now starting to get after-hours calls from scammers using local and state government agencies' numbers. It seems someone would be interested in stopping this. Could THEY be selling our info? Why not? It's MONEY!!!

Call came in on my cell phone, no one was there and I heard someone hang up.

some of them are so slimy and stupid that they call over and over expecting a different result.

they have to pay to get the Do not call list and if they do, they are not to call. I think they would get a big fine if they bought the list and called people who complained
