The thing with Wilkins Research, which does have calling boiler rooms in Chatta, is those damn surveys last forever after they tell you it's short and then "just a few more" which it is not.  Blocked.

Woman asked me to take a survey about television provider.  I told her to take number off list and never call again!

They call every once in awhile. Comes up Unknown Name. I'm running for Congress to expose the traitors in both parties and reactivate the Texas Militia to bring economic liberty to the Lone Star State. Follow me on FB.

answered the phone they said nothing

Answering machine picked up and they hum.g up...figure it was telemarketing call...hate getting these and somehow they get passed the Do Not Call list

Called at 8:45 pm tonight CST, we did not answer, they did not leave a message.

Received a call from this phone number, but I did not answer it.  Caller ID said "Unknown Name".  Based on what others are saying, I'm glad I did not answer it.  My phone number is on the Do Not Call list.

Keep calling late at night and we have a young baby sleeping. Not happy!

called after 9pm I thought the cut off point was 8pm..very annoying especially when you are sleeping..scares the heck out of you

Called me at 8:15PM EST and wanted to know my age and radio station that I listen to.

They called and left no message.  Caller ID says "Chattanooga TN".  I called after hours (using *67 to block my number).  Their recorded message identifies them as "a national marketing research firm" and claims that they are looking to ask about a product or service and that they do not intend to attempt to sell me anything. There is no option to be placed on a Do Not Call list (I wouldn't do it anyway as it can make things worse).

Other posts for this number have claimed that this is Wilkins Research Group (a survey company) with an office in Chattanooga (assuming it is them, the caller ID is still spoofed),  The outgoing message identifies them as such a group, but does not give a company name (again suspicious).  If this is actually WRG, I'd strongly suggest putting your company name on your message and not spoofing your caller ID.

Possibly related: I received another call, (978) 496-8498, about 40 minutes earlier that claims to be a republican survey.  I'm reasonably certain that this earlier call is a scam.  Are the two calls from the same people?

What does the ability to email a company have to do with the ability to phone them?

I notice that you claim to have knowledge of who is calling.  But you haven't provided it.  Why not?

I got a call from this number today and it was a woman making a survey offer, not a telephone survey but a two day survey that they would pay me $350 - $450 dollars for taking. She said I would need to travel to Memphis TN to the Cook Convention Center and the survey would span Friday and Saturday. That is a horse of a different color, when I said I would not be available for that she wanted to know if there is anyone else at this address who would be available on those two days and of course I said no. In this day and age I would never let a stranger on the telephone talk me into leaving my home for any such offer, just because she was interested in my address and making sure if I wasn't going to be here would anybody that would be here like to leave on those two days then I feel there is sufficient cause to suspect there is a burglary plan brewing and I can't stands for that !  Some offers are not worth the risk they represent, not worth the worry that would ensue and surely not worth the possibility of being led somewhere you do not want to be so someone can take advantage of you or rob you into the poorhouse. It's simply not prudent to take such a chance.
