No kidding.  That is what the caller said.  This is the "Barber Poll Research Foundation".  Last time it was Wilkins, not it's blocked.  Done with this crap.

It appears this is a landline belonging to Electric Power Board of Chattanooga TN - which explains why these scammers only call late evenings and never leave a message. It more than likely is a spoofed number and attempts to call back would be fruitless.

Never do I answer calls from numbers that are unknown to me or callers who don't leave a message!

This is pretty common practice among companies doing telephone surveys.

Sometimes the number that shows on the CID is the client's number (the company that wants the survey done) and not
the call center's number.

This number is on the roboguy's SHEET List.  Call was blocked.  No caller id.  Legality of spoofing number for "survey" is dubious to me.

Number called, answering machine picked up, woman said "hello?", then "hello?", then "hello?".  I couldn't  help myself so I picked up the phone and said, it's an answering machine, you are supposed to leave a message.  She said, "oh, sorry" and then hung up.  Geez, not the brightest cookie in the jar.

I usually tell them I have been in touch with the Federal Trade Commission, the Consumer Protection Agency and the FBI, which I have. They usually hang up and don't call back.

This number called my house 11/08 & 11/25 and this evening. Left no message on all three calls. I see  this number has been busy - 7 pages of interesting comments. Have no idea why someone would call from Tennessee since I do not know anyone there.

Worthless scum using the TN fires as a ploy to get money. No real fire victim is cold calling for money. Block these scumbags.

this person keeps calling using numbers, 626/390/7048 and 657/223/6660 and 562/412/3892 and 714/606/1079 and 515/200/7225 and 949/269/8287 and 951/824/1321 and 657/465/0645 and 423/777/5497 and 855/695/4284 all the same person have no idea what he wont. he just keeps calling asking for Mary. he has threatened me and calls every day over and over.

I had that, they even said I'd be put in prison, called my local RCMP, they did checks with there computers and said they would look after it, haven't heard a word from that number again...
