Another call with no message left - apparently nothing important, so why bother calling?

Called Saturday 11 am  . No message, no caller ID came up only the number.

These f*ckers got around my call block by adding 011 in front of their call display number using 0114237775497.  Again, it's a survey company about radio stations.  I can't put more than 10 numbers in my call block system so I'm screwed but if I see it again, I'll just let it ring.

Telemarketer scam

Got a call from t.his number, blocked it.

called and identified themselves and wanted to ask questions on hospice and senior assisted living in Las Vegas, NV.  Said it was a survey.  Seemed more like a cold call to qualify potential customers.

Caller identified herself as a research program for children and would I contribute.
I said no and remove my my number from the list.

Called at 8:30 PM.  I let the phone ring.  They did not leave a message on my voice mail. Must be some scam outfit as they do not leave a message.

Called again at 1 PM Saturday.  No message left.  I will try to block this call now.

They continue to call occasionally.  See my post on page 4 for my previous experience.  One time they accidentally left a brief message; I heard call center sounds and the phrase "our records show that...".

Today I got this call embedded in two calls each with a phone number of "Private".  One preceded this call (less than 15 seconds before) one followed (less than 15 seconds after).  I am all but certain that all 3 came from them.  I consider this obnoxious.

Others have reported that they are asking your favorite radio station and your age.  This is too little information for a useful survey.  I suspect this is all about the age part.  Perhaps this is part of a larger info phishing scheme.

They called but it was intercepted by my call blocking device. The caller ID showed "Unavailable". After seeing 5 pages of complaints on this number, I had them permanently blocked.

I called the number back and got an automated message that the call had come from a "national marketing research firm" (American) to gather opinions. I don't have time for this so I have blocked the number. Why is a company from the USA calling me in Canada?

It's just a survey concerning radio stations in your area that you listen to. They were not obnoxious or impolite, but if you don't want to participate in their survey, don't answer.
