Left no message, I don't answer unknown #'s
First time to receive this one, let's see how many more I get.- Caller: Unknown
- Country Boycalls after 8 pm no message
- eddie| 3 repliesI also got a call from this number, didn't leave a message. I program the number in my phone call blocker and they called back and the blocker disconnected them before the phone rang once. best way to handle these calls is to get a land line phone call blocker, about 50.00 on amaizon. works great can hold up to 1500 hundred calls.
- NopeGot a call from this number at 8:21 pm last night. Called the number back and got a message that said I had been contacted by a national marketing research firm. That was all I needed to hear and hung up. I don't participate in surveys.

- Ekim BbewCalled twice in a row yesterday afternoon. I don't answer "Out of Area" calls (among others)--I Google the number first and then call back if it seems legit. Obviously not legit. Into my CPR Callblocker it goes.
- Caller: Out of Area call
- LindaI called it back. It was an IRS scam. I laughed at her when she told me that the police would be at my door in 45 minutes If I did not comply.

- PatCalled tonight, we don't answer unknown calls. There was a hesitation, then a woman said hello, then hung up after a few seconds.
- Tired From Being Woken Up| 1 replyHave gotten calls from this number twice now, one at 8:47 pm and one at 8:11 pm. I go to bed early so these phone calls are not appreciated. I wish they would stop calling and leave me alone. If they aren't going to leave a message on the answering machine then it can't be all that important.

- Tom replies to eddieEddie. You are correct. I moved two years ago to the Atlanta area. With a landline. Your new info then apparently gets published many places. I started to feel as if I had a target on my back. So, I too spent the $50.00 to buy a call blocker with the 1500 capacity. I had been up to 20 calls per day at one point. The general guidelines I would suggest is NEVER take a call if you don't recognize the caller. Via Caller ID. Also, if the caller won't leave a message it must not be important. I have had a call where caller ID is me and the # is my #. This, of course, is called spoofing. And it is, I believe, good for a $12,000 fine from the FTC. Another Caller ID showed all zeroes. I have a FAX with a dedicated ring tone. And, it has a unique number. You can do this with a single line and a single service charge. They even call that number. They would get a FAX tone only. Sort of humorous. My suggestion, folks. Get a Call Blocker. Money well spent.
Tom
