- TrueBelieverI answered, guy said he was from GoDaddy, didn't give him any info, he didn't ask for anything, he knew my first name already then he asked if I was happy with my GoDaddy service, I said yes, he asked if I had any questions, I said no and then he said to call customer service if I need anything, I said thanks and that was it. took all of 30 seconds, if that, and no more calls.
- Dixie NormousWhy is my selfie device making a ringing noise and saying godaddy on it? Why?????? I think my selfie device is broken!!!
- NobikuThis is one of the funniest bunch of dumb ass posts I ever had the good fortune to stumble upon. Wow! There are stupid people out there.

- web devThey left a voicemail. It was a recording from GoDaddy just checking up and letting me know that they are available if I ever need assistance. I think they also asked for a survey to see how they are doing.

"You're a doofus and a dorkhead! We were a great country until we stopped listening to a book somebody wrote pretending to channel the voices in their head from a giant cloud being in the sky."
Never mind the "our forefathers made a pact with God" revisionism that is demonstrably untrue via dozens of quotes from said forefathers.
If you are a troll, well played, sir! If not, you've at least provided mild amusement for a moment.
Anyway, I suppose all one has to do is call or contact GoDaddy directly and ask if this number is one of theirs. - lololol replies to bencut08seriously did a laugh out loud at that earlier reply. It is amazing how scary stupid some people are. Yes, folks, in case this hasn't already been established by now (it's 2015) that was Go Daddy.
- Tom GI got two calls in a couple of days. They were blocked by my "Call Control" app. I called back just to see who it was. It answered as a Godaddy recording and said a rep would be with me shortly and to have the last 8 digits of my credit card info ready for verification. I do believe the first 3 digits just indicate what kind of card it is so these phishers could just try each kind of credit care prefix to have my whole credit card number. I hung up being certain Godaddy would never want 8 digits to verify.
- Caller: Godaddy?
- TI called it back ffrom my land line and it rang and rang and some shmedley answered "hello" I asked if this was a business or private number? He said private number. I dont think it is Go Daddy.
- Steve replies to KWell the truth is that if you choose do to business with a company you should read the fine print. You can bet that there is something there that says they can call you. That said, it was a phone call...block it if you don't want to talk to them.
- JaniceNo one on other line
- NoslomIt is Go Daddy Customer Service.
- PhoneWearyyes, this is Go Daddy. They basically use your account status, whatever it may be, as a reason to call and, after the perfunctory niceties, try to cross sell another product or service. Sometimes there is a legitimate issue regarding your account. And some people might actually find the call to be helpful or beneficial. Personally, my problem isn't the call, it's the frequency of the calls. They're pretty relentless. If you don't answer and go through the dance, they call back again. And again. And again. You be the judge as to whether this is proper behavior for a company. Personally, I don't like it when someone calls unexpectedly and tries to sell me something on the phone. I don't like telephone sales, period. But judging from some of the posts, others feel it's perfectly acceptable.
- Caller: Go Daddy
- Call type: Telemarketer
- K ChristensenI called too a few minutes ago. The said it was not a Go Daddy number. So it must be a tele marketer pretending to be from Go Daddy!
- FrankGot a call at my place of business. I didn't answer because the call went to a number we don't give out and originated from an area code I did not recognize. No message was left. It's highly unlikely this was a legitimate call.
(P.S. We have never done business with GoDaddy.) - JudyIt is definitely godaddy. My rep couldn't give his direct line, but when he calls me, this is the number that comes up... It's probably one of the many extensions in their customer service dept... He's been my rep, and called me from this number after I emailed him at godaddy telling him to call me.
- Caller: Go daddy
- AytisiI don't believe the call was really from GoDaddy. There is no way a real GoDaddy representative would demand to know the PIN for my GoDaddy account, or refuse to tell me the purpose of his call until I tell him the PIN. I suspect someone wants to steal one of my domains.
- Caller: Purported to be GoDaddy
