- oldcollectort replies to Go Away Citi Bank/Searsthe reason why theyre hanging up is because they are lazy collectors on an auto dialer they sit at theyre desk pretending to take calls but they just hang up as soon as you say hello, just to appear they're working i know because i worked at citibank as a collector and we all used to do it they treated us like [***] so we were all just trying to get a paycheck =/
- TLBJust read all the above. I had 2 calls from 502-357-7999 which reads "Citibank Univer" --- I was not home and two recorded messages were left on my voice mail which said "this is not a sales call, but we would like to speak to you regarding your acct - please call 800-733-1116. I called that number, which actually was Sears Citibank customer service. They indicated that although they have automated callers on occasion, that my account did not show that they called me. They advised that if another call does come through DO NOT provide any personal information. They also indicated that the number on the caller id, 502-357-7999 does not appear to belong to them. It is a SCAM....but not by Sears.
- Caller: Citibank Univer --(untrue)
- well replies to kthis is funny....they are calling my 13 year old's phone.....so I should tell her to start paying her credit card bill that she does not have. People do change numbers, and other people get them. Maybe the company should be considerate and tell the person why they are calling and if you tell them they have the wrong number ...listen. The blank heads need to stop calling....but I do have smart limits and now will block the number from my daughters phone!!!!!!

- sunshinetx33I am tired of getting this number appearing on my caller id. I answer it and the callr asks for a person that does not even live at my address. I have had my phone number since July when I moved into my apt with my bf. When I try to call the number back, it is not a working number. The person always seems to hang up before I can say to take my number off of their list. It has not helped at all. I am wondering if I can call the BBB and find out what i going on.

I keep getting blank calls from 502-357-7999. I get a call and no one answers. I do not pick up phone any longer and am contemplating a change in telephone number. This happened several month ago and then it stopped. Now it continues.
What happened several months ago is the the unknown caller would place strange noises on my answering machine. I would have to try to take off these noises from my answering device. At the end the noises place on it filled up the tape on my answering device. It was bad. I finally unscrabbled the device. They were gone.
Now that the calls from 502-357-7999 have begun again, I turned off my answering machine. I do not pick up the phone. I can tell when a good call is coming and reply to it.
So many people seemingly have the same problem with this number. I don't see where any help is coming. The phone company in the correct area is not being contacted. The phone company can tell the correct person helping who is doing this and something can be done. This is not the case. No help is coming to us.
If this is not stopped in another week or two, I will change my phone number.- Caller: 502-357-7999
- MonikaJust received a call from 502-357-7999, answered the call, message comes on that they do not have time to talk to me. They said that they are from Citi Cards, and I should call there 800#? I called the # back and a message comes on that the # you dialed can not be completed as dialed, hang up and check the #. I do have a Sears Card through Citi Cards, but I just made my payment for October, so I do not know why they are calling me?
- Caller: Citi Cards
- MaryThey don't even say anything they just listen to me say HELLO HELLO than hang up... Annoying
- ALvinI keep receiving a call with this number with my prepaid phone and
my prepaid balance keep deducting with this incoming calls- Caller: stupid company
- Teabaggerside replies to RizzoTeabagger Rizzo is Scammer
- kf replies to RizzoActually, it's a fallacy that if you talk to your credit card company, they'll help you. When I found myself unemployed, I contacted a credit card company, explained the situation, and asked if the payments could be lowered, or if I could get a lower interest rate. The guy actually laughed at me and said, "No, sweetheart, we don't do that."
- kf replies to KellyIs it possible someone took out a card in your name--identity theft? It's shockingly easy to get a Sears card these days... (they want your money)
- joy replies to AshleyI have been receiving calls from this number in the last 2 days
- Nancy replies to KristieIt doesn't matter if you block their number. They have other numbers they can call from. I have blocked 4 of them already.
