    502-357-7999 caller-id CITIBANK UNIVER called several times starting at 8:15 AM also getting calls from 502-522-9998 caller-id KENTUCKY. I do not have a Citibank account nor do I have a Sears account. Registered a complaint for both numbers at https://www.donotcall.gov/, not sure if it will help but it can't hurt. For now just ignoring all these calls even though it is quite bothersome to be called for no reason repeatedly.

    I received 4 calls today.  I missed the 1st 3.  When I called the number back, a recording said that "this is not a working number, please check the number and try your call again."  How can it not be a working number if it shows up on my ID?   I know that technology moves faster than I can keep up so I know that there is a way that it is done.  The fourth time, I was able to answer before they hung up but nobody said anything.  How can we stop these annoying calls?

    So, reading after what everyone says that the number is from Citibank...I have NEVER associated with them in any reasons at all.  Maybe they are calling me for something else?  Cuz I do always get those dumb direct mails saying that I can cash a certain amount that is on the check...I don't take loans.  Sooooooooooo...yeah, I am ignoring it!

    this is a citicard collections #..could be for your sears card..if your not answering the collection calls theyve been making from the area code 336# they will change #s..including the area code to throw you off..hoping you'll answer

    God, they start calling at 7am and don't stop until 11pm at night. I mean these people call us at least 4 times per hour including every day of the week..even on Sundays!!!!. They must have our # on auto call for every 20 minutes. They don't even say anything when you answer the phone. It is getting so annoying that I am about to change my telephone # at my cost of course. If I have to go that route I am taking this to a lawyer and letting them handle it. This is harassment. We don't have a Citibank account anywhere. We have never ever dealt with Citibank at all. We have had the same bank acct since I was 17 with another bank, and I am now 38 years old. Also, we received a piece of mail from the same name telling us that we are approved to borrow 5000.00 on a signature. They must be desperate for business I guess..if you are from there and you are reading this, good lord, stop calling people like this..you're going to get sued and we will win!!!!!!!

    Phone calls from 502-357-7999.  Answered the phone and payment was demanded, although we have auto-payment set up and the payment is clearly made according to the monthly statements.  Gentleman demanded a payment stating that the account was 3 months in arrears and nothing had been paid since January.  Absolutely untrue.  Auto-payment info. was reiterated and the man said that the auto-payment had expired some time ago and again said the account was 3 months in arrears. Then made reference to whether or not the statements are even reviewed each month.  Asked for a supervisor and while on hold checked the most recent statement.  Woman came on the phone stating she was a supervisor and made the same claims as the man about the account and supposedly no payments.  Of course, rebutted with the truth about the auto-pay.  She was very rude and said "dont' you read your statements?"  With that the statement was located and the auto-pay was clearly there, but while she was put on hold so the statement could be located, she hung up.

    Called the number back to discuss and found that it supposedly isn't in service.  So called the billing department on the statement and asked to speak with a supervisor.  Explained the entire situation and she said that the account was fine.  She believed the situation is fraud and an attempt to steal identity or at the very least take monies under false pretenses.  The phone number was reported to Citibank and they filed a claim with their fraud dept. They also were very helpful in closing the account and transferring everything to a new one.  Additionally, it was found on the last statement that a purchase not made was charged.  So of course, proceed with a dispute for the charge as well.

    Personally, this does not seem legitimate in the least.  And I would imagine hiring an investigator and then filing a class action law suit against the parties involved would be most appropriate.

    These calls are probably for a Sears card. They call my house 5,6, or 7 times a day. This is harrassment, and is a definite violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Section 6--5.

    we're in a debt consolidation program and they still call!  I don't answer numbers I do not know.  The best thing I did was add the number to my cell phone as a "generic number" and mark it as a no ring - it just lights up and I ignore it.

    Yes.  I have been getting 3 to 4 calls a day from thos number.

    I set my entire cell phone for all calls to no-ring, and it's music to my ears.  Now if they want to call my phone 100 times a day it doesn't bother them in the least.   I always return legitimate messages; such as my car loan bank--one time I was late, they called, left a message---I called back!    I eventually caught up and everything was fine.  See how that works, citibank?   If you want to talk, leave a message.  I'll call back when I can....but not while I'm working.

    Got the call from 502-357-7999.  Kind of freaked me out, googled the number and found this screen. Thanks to you guys, I found out it was my Sears card.  I missed last month's payment and then I am four days' late with this month's.  I called Sears 1-800 number -- as soon as I put my account number in, got routed to a human. (Amazing!  When you owe thm money, you get a human. Anything else, you get a machine.) I went on and paid -- it was sheer stupidity that I missed the deadline.

    I have been getting calls from 5023577999 everyday from 8 am to 7  - 8 pm everyday more than 8 times.  If this is Sears- citibank card- I need to  file  complain with the Federal buerue as I only paid once late and not my fault as Sear send to my old address resulting I did not pay on time, then they start to increase my monthly minimum payment -I am not over limit how can they do that!

    Citiabank univer 502-357-7999-  This is the number and name that showes up on my ID. I answered after 5 calls on Sunday the he said he would take my number off. They called again today and the Rude women said she would not stop calling me unless I verify my number again with he. I told her no and she will starting yelling and when I yelled she said she will be calling back in three days. WTF I forgot this number is a DC number and my number it unlisted. And they wonder why I got mad.
