they called.  i answered.  they blah blah blah. 2 seconds, i asked them how they got my number.   they blah blah blah again.  2 seconds, asked again - they kept up the blah blah the whole time.  1 second, i said "i'm going to have to call my lawyer" and hung up.  
We can stop them peacefully, but I would so love to know we nuked their facilities - there is no room in our world for this filth - sterilize the blackguards.
oh and thanks to the girl who left the link to the do not call registry.  Even if it doesn't stop THESE buccaneers, it should stop some others (plus I went ahead and added my elderly parents, who say they are always being bothered with this claptrap.

oh, i added their numbers to my cell phone contacts as telemarketer01, and set the ringtone to "NONE" - hopefully, my phone will not ring if they call, and i will see right away the caller was "telemarketer01"

I received a phone call this morning from this # around 9AM.  I didn't pick up, but I also have Alltel service with a Nebraska area code.  Wondering how they got my phone #.  Does it only call Alltel cell phone #'s?

I got a missed call by 505-247-1942.  I always google numbers I don't know before returning the call.  Found this website.  I live in Indiana.  This is crazy!

Unless these people are going to pay my cell bill, they need to keep the hell out of my business, I don't give a damn who they are.

The message is from a company called kids first.... they ask if u would like to participate in a survey. we said yes and they sent us two movies and wanted our feedback on them.

Heh.  I got these jokers a few minutes ago.  I let my phone ring, since I didn't know what the hell they were or whatnot.  I don't bother answering numbers that I don't know.  So I googled teh area code and then the number.  So I got what you all got.  Now those who say "I'm on a do-not-call list", you are right. They aren't supposed to call.  But I worked for one of these organizations for four days and their basic belief is that since they aren't selling anything, they are allowed to bypass the list.  To be frank, not really.  Most are asking for donations and crap.  Do they not figure out that we are all on hard times?  Obviously not.  They also stated since they are non-profit, law doesn't prohibit it.

So if you get this number, make sure you tell people.  I just told my parents and brother.  And I'm with AT&T (Cingular).  Yes, they called my cell.

Got this call while out to lunch.  Did not recognize the number and came home and googled it.  As with the other folks, I am glad I googled it and did not answer.  I do not understand why I am getting this call on my cell phone that is on the Do Not Call list.  This is a scam and needs to be stopped.

I received the call today on my cell phone, which I had missed.  I tried calling the number from a land line and got a busy signal.

I just got this on my cell at 1851 hrs PDT. I live in Nevada have AT&T.  Good thing I don't answer calls from numbers i don't know.

Call from Jessy at "Kids First", I asked his name again and how he got my cell number (AT & T). He said this is not a sales call. He then said that he wanted to send me 2 movies, at which point I hung up.

Received call from this number 5:23pm PST on my cell phone (AT&T)  Did not answer.  Glad I didn't!

Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I NEVER answer my cell when an unknown or private number pops up.

I just signed up for this cell phone yesterday on No Call List 888-382-1222.  Funny thing is, I have never received commercial calls before today??

I got a call from 1-505-247-1942 called my cell phone but I missed it. I googled it and found out it is a scam. I don't know about this guy, but I WORK for a living, what a piece of crap.
