It's so annoying when you are waiting for an important call!!!!!
Is this what we pay for our telephone service???

Had the number call, said his name was Jack Nickalson, claimed we had a "Red Arrow, Yellow Triangle" warning show on our PC's and that he needed to gain access to my computer. I told him I have a Mac and he was speachless

and I asked him for his number so my husband could call him back and he hung up

I am in Canada and an Asian voice responded to my query as to who he is; I hung up; where do we report unwanted calls in Canada; and how do they get our numbers?

I received this call a while ago and they asked me to switch on my computer as it is running slow. I asked who the hell are you and have i paid for you to fix my computer?? they hung up.. This call is originated from California and do you still expect an American will fix a Canadians computer for free?? Hell no..

I received 2 calls from this number, 15 mins apart.  I am in Victoria, B.C. Canada.  When I picked up there was no answer to my "Hello".  After about 30 - 50 sec. the caller hung up.  Now that I know other people have had calls from this number, I will not answer it again.

I got a call from this number today.  The woman said she was from some computer company and she wanted me turn on my computer.  I told her I wasn't going to turn on my computer and she became angry and demanded I turn on my computer.  I laughed at her and hung up.  It's sad that a lot of people still fall for this crap.

This is a scam, they will tell you that your computer is running slow or some other BS and ask you to turn on you computer so they can fix the problem , once they have access they down load a key logger program. The program logs every key stroke you make . Meaning every time you log in to Bank Account, Credit Card , etc, it records all the numbers and now they have access to those accounts.

I kept missing calls from this number. when i called back it kept saying this was not a working number. when i called the number (904)425-9992 that i got from a post on this sight it rang, but no one picked up. Someoneone called me back immediately though saying they were from e computing. I told him I looked up his number online and was not interested in being part of a scam. told him to take my number off his list. he said ok. The number he called me back from was (661)380-3000.

When I asked him what he was selling he called me a m***** f***er, when I asked him who he worked for he said "your father" I hung up.

My husband got the same call.. So idk it really bothers me that people can get away with this crap

He called stating that I had downloaded malware and that my computer was running slow and they wanted to fix it.  I asked him "which computer?".  He asked, "how many computers do you have?".  He stated that he could tell that I had downloaded bad software, but couldn't tell me which computer it was downloaded to.  I said I didn't believe him.  He said OK and hung up.

Tell him you work for Microsoft ( that is what I did)  he also called me a mother F***** and hung up.

well known scam - claim they are our computer company that has found problems with our system. They want us to delete some files & then download things from a website, which they didn't immediately provide, sensing our suspicions.

they called us earlier in the week from 510-943-3040, but called 4 times today from 510-943-3046. The last 2 calls happened after I told them I was reporting them to the police.

I received a call on 2/22/2011 which is today saying that I am a valued Wal-Mart customer and they wanted to send me two gift certificates.  I started questioning them on how they received my information and the call was disconnected.

This number just called and didn't leave a message.  When I tried to call it back, I got a recording saying my call didn't go through as dialed.  In BC Canada, so a california # calling me is just silly anyways.

Im in Halifax N.S this number called me 15 times trying to have phone sex with my 15yr old son.
I was on the other phone listining, then I said I was calling the police.

I wanna know who it is...NOW!!!!!!

They called me about 4 times in the last week or so.  I've hung up on them several times.  They just called again and told me that my computer is running slow because I have an internet virus.  I told him "really? I have an internet virus?"  He said "yes...."  I said, "interesting, because I don't have internet."  He said "oh.... you don't have internet?" and hung up.  SCAM.  I was curious what they were after... key logging makes sense. Thanks for the heads up!

i just received a phone call from that same number. They informed me that they were calling from a social security and he hung up on me twice. when I attempted to contact them back the number was no longer in service. I have contacted the local law in enforcement to advice them of the scam number to further investigate. I gave them the number from my call log and said they will be monitoring all incoming calls from such fake number. please be careful don't answer your phone or provide any information to these scampers.
