- 510-943-3040I have been receiving calls from this number continually. The calls are very frequent, approximately every 15-30 minutes. I have tried to call the number back to get on a do not call list but the phone just beeps 3 times and hangs up. If I try to answer the call the message says "this is a non-working" number.
- JF replies to AndyI did not think apple used Microsoft that way . Or used a open register for a virus to get in the system ? Must be a magic virus !
- Terri replies to dhI'm in real estate and never know if a potential client is calling so I always answer incoming calls. unfortunately I get these calls, too. Do you want to stop them from calling you back? Do what I do, it works every time. Obviously I wait until they call back and I just answer the phone with "Las Vegas Metro Police Department" They don't call back.

- Therese L.CaretteHad a call this morning, I was sleeping, from someone apparently from Microsoft, indian voice it seems, about my computer loaded of junk and malicious files. I was not awake enough to play, but next time, I swear, I will play a bit with them, It's ironic, I have many laptop-desktops and last week was my "monthly clean up" I don't have malicious files. My computers are certainly not full of junk *lol* They phoned the wrong person. I simply hung up this morhing, and returned to sleep. Quietly. I have no stress about my computer. The only "real" call I got about a softwarem was when I downloaded a triel of a 3d software, 2 years ago. To be able to download, you have to fill out a document, gives real infos. I did. They call me, and were really polite, and thanked me about the interest I have in this software, was I interested to buy, etc... It's fine. There are so many hackers. You can't get everything for free! People are developing expensive software, it takes years, They have to be paid for! But I was surprise. Adobe never called or emailed me! By the way, the ID caller was not available. They did progress *lol* Hard to block them.

- Job SeekerI saw the call from this number and ignored it because I did not recognize it. He left a voicemail, which I could barely understand because he kept mumbling. But I did make out that he was telling me about a job offer in my state - on the other side of the country from where the phone call came from. He sounded like he may have been from India. I'm guessing he found my number on a job website where I've posted my resume, because it is unlisted.
- VoIP Guru replies to whzdatThe DO NOT CALL list only applies to calls emanating from a US/Canadian source. Most spam/scam calls originate overseas.
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has nothing whatsoever to do with incoming spam calls. The FCC (US) and CRTC (Canada) can only act on spammers who are actually calling within the US/Canada. Again, spam/scam calls originating overseas are immune to any actions by US/Canadian authorities.
Your best bet is to port your precious number to a quality VoIP provider that offers Call Treatments / CallerID Block ... thereby redirecting incoming spam calls to a busy signal, a "number disconnected" message, an audio recording of "screaming monkeys", etc. - AnnoyedReceiver300Scam
