calling twice (2) a day and no message

This number calls my phone 5-6 times/day. As early as 5:30 am and as late as 9:45 at night!

Scum.

These people called me seven times in three days.  In each case the phone would ring twice then end..  No messages were left..

These fricking people are calling my CELL PHONE multiple times in a row!
Four calls in an hour!

Finally got fed up and answered one of their calls.  They told me my Macy's account was past due.  1.  Untrue! I pay it in full every time it comes in.  2.  I had just received this months bill that very day and it reflected no past due sums.  I don't know if they are lying or just incompetent, but if they call again I'm calling Macy's customer service and telliing them to stop these clowns or I am cancelling my account.  Macy's doesn't carry a damn thing I can't get some place else!

They call me about 3 or 4 times a day!!!!!! It is so annoying!!! How do I make it stop?

Just called 866-282-8697(Macy's Credit Card Dept.) and talked to an operator who couldn't care less. Switched to his supervisor and his superior or whoever.
513-754-9822 is Macy's number, no doubt about it.
They are trying to figure out why I'm getting calls from them 5 times a day even though I closed my Macy's account last year with 0 balance.
I understand if some crook is hijacking their line on Voice-Over-IP and running a scam. Neither they admitted there is something going on with their line nor apologized for the calls I've been getting 5 times a day on my cell phone for last two weeks.

Yes, I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one suffering from this endless calling!! Has anybody had any luck pursuing this?   I also have a Macy's card.

These guys appear to be scammers since they call people who are paid up and even some who don't have Macy's accounts. Since they claim to be a collection agency they are exempt from the No-call list.  Still you have recourse.  You can
1) report them to your states attorney as scammers.  
2) Report them to the states attorney for Ohio (the place the call originates).  
3.  Complain to Macy's thru their customer service.  Even tho these people may not be real reps from Macy's they're using their name and you can hold them (Macy's) accoountable just as you would be held accountable if someone claimed to do something (like charge a purchase) in your name.  
4.  Finally, you can always answer and tell the call to "kiss your a*s".  There is something very satisfying in say that to someone who completely deserves it.

I have been called 5 days in a row, except Sunday.  They are saying they are from Macy's.  Luckily my son looked it up online and found others saying not to call them back, it is a scam.  Since it was for him and he wasn't here, they kept calling back.  They always call about the same time, so when the phone rang, I saw it was the same number and didn't answer.  I hope others will not get hooked into this scam. I hope I can block their call.

he said he was from bloomies.....i grabbed my bloomies bill that was in the mail

he gave the exact amount owed and my balance......i told him i paid online

then i asked what info he has on me......

he gave my exact street address

then that was the end of the convo

i think they are legit

just dont be giving out ur social security number just in case

I receive calls from this number EVERYDAY. I don't pick up the calls. I also have a macy's account!

These people call and call looking for someone who doesn't live here and promoise over and over again to remove the number from the dialer and yet day after day they still call. Today contacted  (513)579-7000 which is maceys corp office the operator there was very pleasant and promoised to reslove the issue hopeful it will be resolved.

I have a macy account. I get calls from this number with no message left and no one on the line if I answer it.  If this is an attempt to collect payment, someone should go back to class!  MY accounts are paid on line and are not behind/late.  When I call the number there is never an answer.  The caller ID does say Mason OH.

It is nothing to do with payment or not.  My accounts are paid up to date. Auto pay. I am still getting the calls.  Macy needs to fix their auto call system. !

I have worked inside of a Macys for a year and a half at a Sunglass Hut. I am not part of Macys, but am still located inside of it. If you are having this problem(as I was) was going to cancel my card. Like i said, if they tell you they are not able to do anything, that is a lie. They can do something, they are just lazy. I no longer get those calls, and I now have a free $500 dollars to spend at Macys
